Pretty sick man, at least 290 dead. Terrorist cunts.

Anguished editorials and think-pieces decrying attacks on
minority Christians came there none.

Almost as great a tragedy as Notre Dame

I was sad that notre dame burnt but there was something
sickening when all this filthy lucre came out of the
woodwork immediately

I am expecting dumb reactions from both the left and the
right about this, just as the terrorists intended

brown extremists attack Western & Christian culture the last
20 years or so, no one bats an eye or wants to point
fingers

white extremist shoots up one mosque in NZ "OMG WE HAVE TO
DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE EXTREMISTS"

i'm getting kinda pissed off at what appears to be 'racism
of low expectations' where really it's beginning to seem as
if people are like "well yeah but they're brown, so we kinda
expect this behavior for them to either blow each other up
or die in explosions"

not really though: muslims blow something up, then:

person 1 "well muslims did it. that's what islam teaches
them to do"
person 2 "omg that's racist! omg you're islamophobic! not
all muslims!"
news "somebody did something, but we're not gonna say who"

western society has been cucked by the media & sjws into not
saying anything about muslims or islam whilst they go around
blowing up western culture, due to fear of being labeled
bigots & racists. why was there a disproportionate amount of
backlash over the christchurch shooter, but not what's been
happening over the last 20 years when islamic extremists do
something? you're only looking at those supposed
islamophobes & racists & bigots who bat their eyes and point
fingers, not societies as a whole and their media and their
leaders who refuse to acknowledge the 800 lb gorilla in the
room. i mean, if you think it's false...then you yourself
are admitting who is responsible, so surely you have no
problem coming out against islam without fear of
repercussion or being labeled a racist, bigot, islamophobe,
yes? or are you one who doesn't bat their eye and doesn't
point a finger because you seemingly don't see the
correlation?

and where do you get the idea that islam teaches them to do
a terrorist attack? it’s very simple. religion is
appropriated to make uneducated people do as they like

Islam teaches love for your neighbour, to do charity, to
take care of people. It also teaches to kill the non
believer. It is a dangerous proselytising religion that
shouldn’t be allowed to flourish in the West. There are
nutters that want to make Islamophobia illegal. They should
go live in Somalia or Afghanistan.

so much ignorance in this i can't be bothered to unpick it,
but are you saying if roles were reversed and a muslim shot
50 people dead in a western church, it wouldn't be
newsworthy for fear of offending "sjws"? cos you're like,
pretty far from correct there man. *bats eyelashes at you*

by the way terrorists don’t care about religion. islamic
extremist terrorists killed many muslims too. it’s just a
very powerful tool to use for their own benefits

Some terrorists interpret religious texts to their benefit
though. Islamic extremist terrorists kill other Muslims who
they believe don’t follow “the rules” like sharia.

they do interpret religious texts for their benefit. there
isn’t any text that orders to kill anyone disobeying the
rules of sharia which itself is mostly made up

I don't support violence but Sri Lanka's population is 10%
Muslim while only 7.5% of MPs are Muslim. With this kind of
discrimination Christians have to bear some responsibility
for the attacks

well how many coordinated attacks have christian extremists
made on muslims? how many coordinated attacks have jewish
extremists made on muslims? how many coordinated attacks
have buddhist extremists made on muslims? how many
coordinated attacks have islamic extremists made on muslims
AND non-muslims? seems rather disproportionate once again
when you begin comparing the numbers since 9/11. all 9/11
did was prime people to the idea of dying to islamic
terrorism and accepting not, not to make them aware of the
dangers they face.

one white guy shoots up a church in NZ, their prime minister
partakes in some virtue signaling faggotry by putting on a
hijab, they ban all guns, begin to censor/halt the flow of
information. what happens when islamic terrorists blow up a
bunch of people? nothing really lol. sounds like some fucked
up double standards and racism of low expectations to me.
you know what's worse than people who blow other people up?
the people who keep letting it happen due to political
correctness. i don't have a problem with muslims, i have a
problem with islamic extremists and their sympathizers &
apologists. the enemy of the people aren't just those who
kill, but also those who begin to think "yeah, but..." or
"well the thing is..." when those people do kill. that goes
beyond islam, religion, politics, borders & nations, any of
that shit. that's a toxic part of the human condition that
extends beyond any creed or ethos.

add to that list christian militias in the central african
republic (convert or die stuff), christian militias in syria
backing assad, new ilaga christian militias in the
philippines... read a little, i'm not denying that islamic
extremism is a totally regressive shitshow but there's a
world going on outside of your preferred narrative

One thing I believe we can (or should perhaps) agree on is
the skewed reporting in the press. The Guardian is leading
today with the New Zealand PM's call to curb extremist
material on social media (no mention of Islamic terrorism,
obviously it's that far right that's just waiting
behind the door) and more prominence is given to smiley
woman in a hijab photo-bombing islamaphobes than a small
piece now that refers to the 320 mainly Christians killed by
Muslims on fucking Easter

If muslims had been targetted on one of their holiest days
we would never hear the fucking end of it

Christians slaughtered on one of their holiest days. It's
OK, they deserved it because, errr, New Zealand, according
to Sri Lanka’s defence minister, Ruwan Wijewardene, a fact
he appears to have pulled out of his arse.

offline Roger Wilco from Mo's Beans on 2019-04-24 06:54 [#02575538]

The thrust of the reporting is on the Sri Lankan governments
apparent security lapses aka they're the ones to
blame, not the poor plucky Islamists who only want to
practice shariah and who are we to judge them?

yeah it is a bit weird how this sri lanka attack is spoken
about in the media in euphemistic terms, in comparison to
the new Zealand attack where they had no problem calling it
for what it is

you guys are being so weird
europe has hijab bans, minaret bans, islam debates out the
gazoo, civil liberty violations because of state of
emergency, popular anti-islam conspiracy theories, mosques
under watch, 'deradicalisation centers', terror attack
drills in primary schools, etc etc

anyway how do yall feel about china rounding up muslims in
internment camps

I guess their is a radius of concern that China is on the
periphery of, and in more pragmatic terms Western companies
don't want to piss off the biggest economy in the world, its
terribly wrong but its just the way things are

regarding your first point, since when are we concerned
about what happens in bloody sri lanka? i doubt there'd be

Oh yeah I mean I don't personally make a distinction to who
is being murdered, its all totally wrong in my opinions, was
pointing out a lot of people cherry pick what they emotively
respond too, guess they dehumanise Muslims in their mind,
don't equate them as being humans first .

"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the
process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long
enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you." is
an apt quote I reckon, but I might be accused of being a
soft touch by saying that
