I admire people who go out and try and prove their  hypothesis or assumption, but most of these people even if  they have disproven their own theory then go on to think of  a way that the results they obtained could be wrong, i.e.  they modify their theory to suit the results and say well  perhaps the disc is spinning near light speed to generate  gravity or what not
