seriously, guys?

the nero/fiddle joke is too obvious, so i'll just relate my
personal experience with notre dame.

we get off the bus and i take a picture. they hoard us
inside and tell us no flash, no flash, and i fumble around
and promptly discharge my camera, with flash. i wasn't even
trying to take a picture; i think i got the floor, or a
ceiling painting. they got mad and yelled at me. i never
found out what i got a photo of, because i never saw my
camera again.

later, on the metro: my high school buddy looking some
pickpocket chick in the eyes and saying: fuck. off

So you’re that type are you, to purposely use your flags
because you’ve been asked not to? I guess you were young.

Yeah once. I’ve been twice to Paris. It’s not a place I
particularly appreciate to be honest. I prefer the museums
to the people lol.

I like cathedrals a lot. the older gothic ones very
atmospheric, but yeah if the British museum burnt down that
would be even worse

units Paris can put in the newly opened space

yes, and no. i'm exactly the sort who, upon being told that
flash is not allowed, will awkward fumble the camera whilst
trying to put it away; flashbang 100 people

i was embarrassed at the time, but it gives me the giggles
now. perhaps that's why my camera was stolen. the notre dame
illuminati needed their pound of celluoid

Yeah once. I’ve been twice to Paris. It’s not a place

they carted us over the lourve right off of the plane. it'd
been a direct flight, long hours, airports, and in
retrospect, i'm kind of annoyed, because i was way too tired
to properly appreciate it. everyone was. people kept trying
to find spots to sit down, and the louve doesn't do sitting.
people plopping down under the glass punk pyramid, and
uptight french mall cops would be all: no sitting, no
sitting, sitting is not allowed in france

i do remember the mona lisa room clearly, though. people
were swarmed around that little postage-stamp sized piece of
shit, and i could not even get close. so, i just stood in
the corner, half asleep.

then, i noticed there was a painting the size of a small
house on another wall. it was, like, how science telescopes
will have like 200 megapixel sensors or something absurd --
not just was it huge, but it was detailed on a small level
as well. everyone else was completely ignoring it; flocking
to the mona lisa like flies on poo. i feel like da vinci
would have gotten a laugh out of this

what i want to know: how did they get it into that room? the
doors aren't nearly big enough

i saw an easter island head in the louvre (theft isn't
really theft if it was long enough ago) and that was pretty
impressive i guess. and yes, the mona lisa was swamped with
twats like us

I assume they all legged it, I saw inside the cathedral on
the new today, it obviously catastrophic but not as bad as I
assumed, looks definitely salvageable, its amazing how much
the catholic church are tight wads, you would think one of
the most important catholic churches they would chip some
money in, aren't the catholic church the biggest private
landowners on the planet, they are ridiculously wealthy
anyway

everyone outside it as infidels and apostates and should be
totally conquered

misfigure in a group of those, philosophically
