Any fans?

I'm loving the hell out of it. I don't demand perfection,
but it sure is taking me back to the happy times of Star
Trek TNG. The added comedy makes it all the more real in
most cases, imo

If you can vpn to Canada you can watch the most recent
episode until midnight next Thursday
https://www.citytv.com/toronto/shows/the-orville/ It's one
of the more serious episodes.

I watched the whole first season and loved it - a lot. Is
the second season out, I keep forgetting to check... I guess
I could internet it...

2nd season is at ep. 12 right now. With at least two more
coming. If you enjoyed the first season you'll absolutely
love the 2nd. So many Star Trek alumni guest appearances
too. Frakes directs a few of them too.

"The difference between disinterested and uninterested is often
controversial. According to traditional guidelines,
disinterested should never be used to mean ‘not
interested’ (i.e. it is not a synonym for uninterested)
but only to mean ‘impartial’, as in 'the judgements of
disinterested outsiders are likely to be more useful'.
Ironically, the earliest recorded sense of disinterested is
for the disputed sense.
(LOL!?!??!) Today, the
‘incorrect’ use of disinterested is widespread: around a
quarter of citations in the Oxford English Corpus for
disinterested are for this sense.
"
