I binge watched the first series and found it fun
enough
, though I thought the premise set out at the
start was stupid. I like the Mirror Universe bit, one
of my fave episodes of the original series. And I liked Mudd
turning up as well, giving a sense of Star Wars Prequels to
it. Has the second series started? I think there's season
two of The Orville as well (which I really liked the first
series).

These have been my thoughts on the matter.

It's not good star trek but it is good fun. Orville is
better. I need to watch S2 of both.

a damaged ship and he copies all of his mannerisms cos he
idolises him

second season is almost concluded and third to last episode
was quite a trip

what if you knew your future, and had a choice to accept it
or not? sort of playing fate and free will off of one
another. it reminds me of how i've been saying "we're all
made up of little bits of other people, and those people are
made of little bits of other people" and now i feel like
fate is more or less extending this thinking to free will.

i'm not sure if that makes any sense

sonequa martin-green is amazing at acting. the scene with
her parents, the utter flood of movement in her face, vocal
delivery at the same time. sensory overload

solar panels

i've had this conversation so many times with so many
people. everyone hates neelix. i'll mention that the episode
in which tuvoc repeatedly strangles, stabs, and murders
neelix is a welcome moment of catharsis; a highlight of the
series. then i'll say that his character was based on woody
allen and everyone makes faces
