either he is genuinely having a laugh or he is leveraging
internet meme culture to deflect from criticisms

He is not having a laugh. I reckon he messed around with a
friend with production « skills » and thought it was
worth sharing. He’s such a cunt I just don’t see him
having that self mocking in him. If elon musk wanted you to
understand he’s mocking himself, you’d see it.

yeah seems like a PR exercise to be honest,

Of course, but I’ll stand by my words: he thinks it’s
good.

A lot of people forget this, but following the gorilla's
slaying Harambe was immediately weaponized by white
nationalist sites like 4chan and r/The_Donald. Elon Musk's
dogwhistling of the meme is certainly a troubling
development. I've been concerned about his political
leanings since his appearance on the alt-right-adjacent
podcast of "Intellectual Dark Web" figure Joe Rogan, and at
this point I can't see myself ever buying a Tesla.
Thankfully there are other companies with great electric car
offerings, so next time I'm looking to fight climate change
with a new vehicle purchase I'll be checking out what BMW,
Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, Mitsubishi,
Nissan, and Volkswagen have available.

you could also fight climate change by never leaving the
house

oh wait

elon musk has been dating grimes for a while, now, and she
switched him on to acid

...if youbelieve azelia banks, which, well, i dunno

anyways, it was his girlfriend that helped him out, i'm sure

according to some timeline i read about the "$420 a share"
statement, the moment elon musk tweeted it, he was currently
having his tesla whiz down the highway to an airport or
something. that he was on acid as this all went down gives
me a great ol' lol

i kind of doubt it, though. he was probably just blazed

who hasn't caused an SEC violation; incurred $millions in
fines via a single tweet, whilst having a self-driving car
whiz you to the airport, on acid? it happens to everyone
sometimes

a/an SEC violation

I'm not against the idea, but I don't think self-driving car
machine learning AI technology is at that point yet.

I wouldn't trust a self-driving car whilst on acid either...

Acid the music or drug lol?

I just can’t find myself able to like him. And he tries,
it seems he’s intent on trying to please me personally yet
failing. He’s doing all the right things but I can’t
help but feel that he’s a cunt.

If anyone needed a sign that we live in the worst version
possible of all alternative realities, this is it.

Idiocrasy wasn't just a film but a prophecy.

Indeed, and in true idiot form I spelled Idiocracy
incorrectly.

Interesting that they were both written around the same time
though. The point of no return, you could say.

its like that boaty mcboat face thing, its amusing if your
10, but there were loads of adults on social media thinking
it was quite clever, I know im sometimes guilty of it
myself, but there is a real infantilism of culture in
general, of you listen to trap music now, its sounds like
nursery rhymes

hear hear (+bonus hear)

he's kind of an idiot and that's funny, only it's not
because he's a billionaire and so has unfathomable amounts
of power. he hasn't used that power for bad yet. or he did:
he accused that rescue guy of pedophilia, which is really
bad and shows his maturity. but his biggest threat to
society is that he's yet another gate way to the alt right.
just like Joe Rogan and PewDiePie. but i really can't help
liking all three of these, so that shows the danger.

do i really like them? do i really like Musk, for instance?
i do. in these clips i'm touched by his awkward demeanor,
the actual stuff that he says and i can relate to his
despair:

so really the problem is him talking about stuff outside his
expertise
or really it is society allowing people to become
billionaire
there's several problems on several levels

here's PhilosophyTube on neoliberalism, kinda makes you
understand how we ended up with all these billionaires:

also there's more bad about him, like how he 'discourages'
unions at his company
https://twitter.com/zei_nabq has a file laying around
somewhere
