Im no Alex Jones apologist by the way, I was just watching
the vid out of curiosity, check the second vid though, I
mean does seem a bit absurd

Aled Jones is a juggernaught of freedom, a force for the
opposite of tyranny, extremely
articulate/capable/brave/powerful/ethical. He's more
minarchist than I think the real solution needs which jeff
berwick and larken rose etc are on the innovative cutting
edge of, but as he paraphrased "you guys are pontificating
while I'm just taking swings at the new world order". When
people make fun of him they're being disinformed by the
astroturfed "sort by relevance" of youtube attack pieces etc
(hmm, why does ebay/amazon/craigslist/youtube all have this
wonderful sort by relevance that magically sorts things by
what corporations want you to see, set by default to herd
the damn near obsolete humans at this point? Amazing how
they're all in IN-Q-TEL sync.) This "deposition" is sad, an
attack on freedom of speech. The more of a good guy your are
in this system, the more the system comes after you.

My main issue with his is that he has to create content so
everything is a potential conspiracy theory rather being
selective of the things that do genuinely seem a bit dodgy

it always puzzled me that the conservatives attack CNN so
much. i'm a ~liberal~ and i find it to be complete trash.
you're not really changing my opinion on anything, guys

i guess it's not entirely insane -- they rarely fuck with
NPR anymore, because everyone would just say, "oh, they're
full of shit"

offline EpicMegatrax from Greatest Hits on 2019-03-30 01:18 [#02572891]

i was off, it's actually 292.

but, still valid point -- there's a lot of ways to use that
292kb/s bandwidth. i remember using LAMEenc on the command
like and it'd be all "applying psychoacoustic filter" --
essentially, "i am now throwing out all the frequencies most
ears probably won't notice to save space."

we're so used to mp3. we can hear it against FLAC. AAC has a
similar sort of attitude... but, yeah, ATRAC is a bit off on
its own, frequency-wise.

according to my ears, anyways

its weird how the selectively bash CNN which is a bag of
shit and then spout fox news verbatim, actually its not
weird its just selective, blinkered thinking most people do
to tried to prove their point I guess

Alex Jones calls CNN "demons", but he is the truly
irredeemably evil one. The fact he attacks CNN and not NPR
is proof of this. He knows NPR listeners are extremely
intelligent, reasonable, and unbiased people who can't be
swayed by political propaganda at all and who have an
average IQ of over 145, so he doesn't bother going after
them. CNN viewers, on the other hand, with an average IQ of
115, are slightly more susceptible to his vile rhetoric.
That's why he targets CNN so vehemently. As for Fox News
viewers (average IQ 85), they already believe in all his
conspiracy theories, so obviously he doesn't waste any
energy on them. In fact, there's literally no difference
between Fox News and Infowars.

yeah, i think we've about nailed it -- fox news vs. cnn is
sort of like yankees vs. red sox. it's a perennial battle
that will never end, because that's what draws people in

Yeah. It simplifies things. Most people identify quickly
with a side (a news side) that roughly encapsulates their
convictions without them having to spell it out. Like a
uniform of some sort primarily used for recognition. For
example Aphex is clearly right wing, while Autechre leans
towards the left. Boards of Canada is for South Park fans
with no convictions at all, and squarepusher is for CBeebies
viewers. I nearly bought a Britney Spears t-shirt the other
day. It was on sale and cheaper than a burger (for example).
I thought it’d be cool. My shrink told me I looked like a
beatnik on Thursday. I had just apologised for my red
trousers and explained that I had run out of clean pants (II
say “pants” for you EM). I told him I felt like a child.
It was a good session.

consciousness was partially about a more unique sort of
division between self and environment. when you get a group
of consciousnesses together in a pack, the same sort of
thing happens, and self vs. environment becomes us vs. them

Ha ha! Got you there, as we didn’t speak of my childhood
or my inner child at all! I mostly spoke about this guy
(mohamed) that bullies me on a message board (Xlt) as soon
as I think he’s my friend.

“And how does it make you feel, that he wants to ‘fuck
you up’?”

I told him that I thought he’d probably mock my red
trousers.

Dude, make an effort! We’re not all in your head. I’m
sure your insight is worthwhile but you certainly don’t
break a sweat trying to present it!

sometimes

he's such a demented attention whore puppy. if he would have
been born in kazakhstan he would have it much better.
America is always so good in capitalising on narcissism, its
becoming dangerous. in 3rd row countries he would be a
decent circus clown with no harm to the uneducated meth lab
franchise

i actually had a post in my head i got distracted and didn't
write: alex jones is a huckster. the difference between a
hucker and an attention whore is that a hucker is about
money, and attention is obviously the best way to get it

if you don't take him seriously its a pretty great shit
show. unfortunately he's harming the man and plays stupid. i
have the feeling that he got humiliated as a kid. i would
bet my phd on it

then he sees a plastic water bottle on his desk, and gets
mad at that: why am i drinking this?! bpa plastic!
mind control!

i sampled it for my fake autechre leak of exai

all about the $$$

exai leak, then:

LAZY_TITLE

highlights:

- veko s i interpret as "veko slap" and it's more or less
made up of me slapping my face to make poppy noises run thru
fx
- some review cited chopped-up opera samples for one track,
so i thought, "i'll just sample that alex jones thing that
someone posted on xlt"; forget which track that was

i recall i had a track listing with lengths, some
journalistic reviews, but not the actual album, and i just
sort of went from there, filling up the space however my
impulses drove me.

i deeply prefer this parody, which is superb for
having been made in a day or two.

do you mean juke highbert or exai?

both albums, i had a lot of fun making. the highbert one is
the i say "this will sound good to other people," though.
exai was an interesting day or two... i had track titles,
lengths, and journalist reviews about what the tracks
sounded like. from there, having a laugh
