anyone else remember this? the game was everything to me in fifth grade. i remember i got in trouble for something or other; dad took away my computer monitor as punishment. i promptly booted my PC without the monitor, typed in the commands to start OMF, and began playing through a combination of using the sounds to know what was happening and memory of how the game usually went. i'd won the first bout; was about to win the second, when dad tore into my room, furious. he almost never got furious. lol
at one point, i had the excuse for a class project to bring my PC into school. after i'd done the school stuff, i fired up OMF. they'd let me plug my computer into a projector -- so old it was pretty much a transparent LCD thrown on top of an old-skool overhead projector; standalone SVGA projectors didn't really exist, yet -- and that was a peak moment
