Haven't taken my antidepressants for a couple of days purposefully and I feel like im on some kind of constant psychedelic high like I feel my mind feels like its full of summer flowers, I guess this is some sort of huge neurotransmitter dump, but its really nice but disrupting, I feel boundless creativity but I cant stand still for 5 minutes

Well there's got to be something off kilter going on in your brain if the legend of goldihunk resonated with you. Maybe you should try an enema to clear out the area where you brain is.

lolling out loud at that guy's expression
i've had a couple of periods like that (the mania not the fish dude) as my brain soup readjusts itself to new/more/less meds, i couldn't tell you exactly which was responsible though as i'm on a whole load of different ones. one of the best sleepless manic times was thinking i was psychically linked with peter baynham, we wrote the outline of an lsd opera / graphic novel about an 8 year old ninja paedophile hunter

yeah great expression!
That sounds kind of cool, perhaps a tad exciting and distressing!
When i like down in bed like this my brain is generating unfurl leaf like fractals in my mind, its not so like its a visual in my visual cortex but something in my mind, its quite distracting when your lying down trying to sleep and all this mental noise is going on

yeah it's hard trying to explain this stuff even to fellow patients, unfurling fractal of ideas is about right though for manic periods. i used to talk out loud to myself to organize the ideas and i recorded them on my phone - listening back now they're close to gibberish. i've got the psychosis element too though, how you feel now might be quite productive if you can kinda funnel it!

yes i reckon all the best creative periods in anyone's lives are funnelled through some experience like this, you can be inspired if nothing is going on in your mind, im not getting enough sleep/too fatigued to create anything at the moment though, if i had the energy levels fo when i was 15 i would be laughing, i didn't mind crawling round the back of my pc then plugging and unplugging stuff, installing software

Yeah I had similar problems with seroxat, especially coming off them.
I take Mirtazipine for anxiety. Worst side effects are that they make me tired and hungry for a short while after taking them. Closest thing to valium I've ever had.

yeah was on seroxat for a long time and before that Prozac, I don't know my meds were changed as essentially they do the same thing from what I can tell, perhaps they are subtly different, the world of psychology seems much more nebulous that other medical disciplines, more akin to alchemy than a real science, very trial and error. I think in the far future they will look at these drugs as barbaric, messing around with delicate brain chemistry/function in a haphazard way

Yeah, I wasn't comfortable taking seroxat so long (7 years) as I was worried about the long term effects, but 10 years without medication was far worse.
Still, it seems a better option than the electroconvulsive therapy that an older neighbour told me he had in the 80's.

same for weed, when youre doin it all the time youre just looking for that catatonic state, that music and everything else takes a secondary importance. therefore cold turkey is the new special, and makes the same effect of a low/beginner herb dosage.
