if you've taken apart an 80s/90s VCR/camcorder you've seen these things: ...and if you want to skip to the TLDR: the use of tempo-synced delay lines in music generates patterns like this in my mind, and i found the corollary rather elegant. perhaps the idea use of delay in acid house can be visualized in such a manner |

hah top vids,ta!! Think I've seen that Aussie bloke take apart a non OEM charger before, his reaction was amazing fun facts I found out recently: u can do vibrato on 'anything' with a delay line (that's what flangers do!), and 'stutter'/dBlue glitch type fx = also delay lines (think: sawtooth) |
