i mean kidding aside it does feel a bit weird! what a name

speaking of which is anyone still in touch with jaroen? last
i heard he was pretty involved with feminist activism so i'm
wondering if he might have transitioned too as it is the
very much in vogue thing to do these days

I should have asked his e-mail at some point :(
If you don't mind the personal stuff, otherwise just
ignore:
I have to say my mind is pretty blown by your transitioning,
not in a bad way or anything.
I remember you saying on FB, something like "Yeah, I never
really thought about it, but really I feel more like a
girl"
And that was the last I heard of you because you disliked
Facebook and xltronic pretty bad.
Which I have to notice too: you seem much more relaxed, less
angry by all the systems of oppression that ring through in
some comments here (sorry for the big words, but this has
been my development: I'm a pretty hardcore lefty now, became
that through my climate activism and people I've met)
Anyway: big <3 and hugz to you ^_^

thanks for the trap tracks, people
you don't really have to become a trans activist to post in
this thread, if only because that'd be a tad appropriating
(looking at you here, wavephace)

haha well, yup, i think i'm following a pretty standard
transitioning arc. starting out is hard, because you're not
sure where you're going and everything is wrong, but after a
while things start to fall into place and you can see the
end of it and it's possible to . . . . . chill and not feel
threatened by everything.
also queer activism circles are chockfull of confused
narcissistic hypocrites, predators and poseurs, and it's
good to get away and live your life. you don't see many
older trans women in these places, because at some point you
get it, you're not welcome and this isn't good for you.
and newsflash, even the most progressive feminists still
super hate lesbians and they will resent the hell out of
you.

so yeah whatever, i'm much more comfortable with whatever is
being said here, at least this place is honest about what it
is.

also <3

tnx and <3

too bad those circles are toxic. though it's not my place, I
want to say the system is still pretty much to blame,
putting people against each other. also i can admit I've had
had feelings of resentment against for instance feminists
for not seeing their privilege compared to other groups. not
saying anything new for you. also unnice people are unnice
people, but still

big question: how's anne?

ah, well, sorry to disappoint, i don't like to call myself
it but i'm still very much a radical feminist, the
andrea dworkin sort not the trendy guilt-ridden hetero sort

anne is good i think, tho she's not very much online these
days!
