this VST plugin creates *drum roll* hits that are unique, every time. various synthesis methods include both samples and modular chains of drum synths. a pair of sliders control the level of variation -- one for timing, other for style. various subsettings for relevant vectors scaled by the aforementioned pair of sliders.
example scenario, slider one: realistic *drum roll* with humanized variation; could be naively mistaken for a live drummer on some twat's comedy podcast. followup VST: dynamic laugh track synthesizer
example scenario, slider two: entirely analog drum synth (but still recognizable) *drum roll* consists of drum synth patches dynamically switched during a sequence. imagine a cluster of simulated coron ds9's that randomly choose between synthesized snare knobs and toms tuned to various frequencies

really, the *rim shot* and laff track go hand-in-hand. before sampled libraries, in front of a live studio audience, you needed to have a drummer to wake the audience out of their alcohol haze and prompt a laff
