What did you do and get?

Seeing some friends later for a nice meal and some games
with their kids.

Got 100 quid from my mum, and the same from my dad. Got a
Neo Geo Mini. Love it to bits, don’t care one bit about
some of the mixed reviews! That’s it really!

Man I want that NeoGeo. Is it the version that comes with
controllers and HDMI out?

Nah that was a Christmas limited edition. I got the normal
international version. I haven’t even plugged it into the
tv yet as it’s a lot of fun playing it on the mini
cabinet. Downers are that the controllers you can buy have
had pretty negative reviews, and it doesn’t come with a
battery so it had to be plugged in for you to play it. The
other thing purists complained about is the picture on the
big screen. I’ve looked at screenshots that compare the
original with this and to be honest I barely see a
difference so don’t care. List of games is great, and have
yet to try them all. It’s really fun to pick up and have a
blast for half an hour. I’m enjoying discovering all the
fighters I missed out on as a nipper. All in all I’m mega
happy. Also it’s worth noting that the mini screen is
flawless. The joystick and buttons work fine and it’s easy
to do special moves and the likes in fighting games.

My dad smoked his first spliff in about 40 years and then
fell asleep in front of the father Ted Xmas special. Think
he had the best day.

What did you do and get?

A whore, herpes.

Just kidding, that would have been an event and my life has
no events. I'm sorry I mean the new world order's life since
it's not mine.

yeah I think your right LAZY_TITLE

I guess most medieval peasants spent most of their day
shifting dung and soil around so they had to think in
practical terms tough wearing cloth that would wash easily
