yes, there is skill involved for sure but 95% of the time its just hugging on the floor very occasionally you get a spinning crescent kick but usually the guy who tries to do that gets knocked out quickly, it the guy who makes the least mistakes who wins, that's why I think boxing is better to watch |

It really does depend though - many matches don't involve much takedown work and most of the ones that do these days don't end up for the entire round on the ground: not always it's true, and they are boring to sit through, but the most recent UFC PPV had two fantastic KOs |
