yeah my nan had floral-type chairs like these. had little
elasticated skirts on there too. and all was nicotine

The armrest on my nan's sofa had worn away and had holes in

Aw I miss my nans. Oddly enough I feel closer to one now
than ever before.

Something that hasn’t been mentioned is the smell. Scented
naphthalene balls, the lingering smell of pot pourrie (rose
or lavender). The important televisual rendez-vous,
gameshows, snooker and crime stories...

it's exactly the sort of thing you do an idm/barndance song
about -- emotional context to give the composition cohesion,
but also significant synaesthetic work to do (reconstituting
grandma couch print as a tapestry of midi).
