this was all i could think about. brainwashed kid
i was, partly or mainly because of no supervision of my
parents

Ace, and ace.

What were the last toys you remember having before
“growing up”?

age, there was some kind of incomprehensible board game that
went along with them too

they were called 'exogini' in italy, and there were pyramids
full of them and i was crying because mye mum couldnt afford
them. luckily the neighbouring 'family' we had provided me
with one.

in my ..pocket. never cared for the game. although having
only 5 points i liked the skeleton the most, because i liked
everything about the human skeleton when i was young. for
some reason

Remember those little figurine you put in water and the
expanded?

The last toy I had (I think) that I really cherished was a
Boglin. I think I wanted a Donatello TMHT so that
must have been quite late and one of the last toys I had.
I’ll buy random Star Wars figures when they’re on sale
in this shop you’ll know called Müller. I have four small
ones, a medium soda, and a bigger stormtrooper. That’s
about it really.

interesting toys, here in my country kids in the 80s didn't
had many options like these. The G.I. Joes was one of few
toys available in the stores. hehehehehe

i had a mini boglin, was a dirty off white colour and about
fingertip size... i used to turn it inside out to make it
looked like cooked tripe then pop the eyes in and out. much
cooler than a stress ball

Yeah I had a large and a mini. You could move the eyes of
the larger one but I cherished the little fella who was
indeed fun to turn inside out!

Loved LEGO, still do. In the states, the marketing we had
was "Lego Maniac", and I was the poster boy. I was also
really into Star Wars toys, Transformers, Micro
Machines/Mega Force (different brands, sort of same
concept), and this thing called ExoSquad that was kind
of like GI Joe, but with awesome powerloader-style suits for
the "vehicles".

So no one watched MASK?

I watched MASK. Wasn't allowed any of the toys though. My
cousin had the red car, green motorbike that was a
helicopter, a lorry, a racing car and a 4 wheel drive car
that was orange i think.

Aw ace. I had quite a few too, loved the green bike, took it
everywhere with me. Loved the plane, and sports car but I
think my fave was Jackhammer.

Ha! Zoid and Manta Force look similar, i remember something
like that with small golden figures that couldn't move much,
only sit or stand, but the spaceships were cool

anyone remember starcom?

little guys in spacesuits with magnetic feet

there was this boy in my class, who was an only child and he
always went to the netherlands with his parents to buy toys
that weren't marketed in germany. i was super jealous

dinosaurs that you built.

have loved to have some of the toys.

No one has mentioned He-Man. I had castle greyskull and
quite a few figurines.

He he! The grandparents often buy the knock offs without
knowing, desperately wounding the child in the process. Auto
bot instead of transformers etc
