His music sounds like Aphex. We all know how that's a
surefire strategy toward cultural longevity and being able
to give up your day job.

back on myspace, i exchanged some messages with monolith.
thought he was aphex. then he was asking me: i'm just
getting started with SDIY (building synths), what should i
buy? and we chatted a bit about that. he said "i'm putting
out releases on two labels soon, i can't say which, but one
i'm pretty excited about it." one was rephlex

just conversationally, he did seem a lot like umbroman.

jodey kendrick, deeply curious about who's behind that one

steinvord sounds like aphex and squarepusher drunk, loaded,
etc. and mixing a bit poorly because the speakers are wicked
loud

oh, rubber disco seemed like classic aphex sampling a la
~come on you slags~. but, yeah, the whole feel of it does
feel like someone else... in the same way you get to figure
out dupes through the writing style

2009 I think it was when the rephlex web store went up and
on Christmas eve we had all the analords with bonus tracks
and stuff was a fantastic Christmas eve, stayed up drinking
sherry and eating mince pies and having a utterly fantastic
time.
