i think its hard for people to be original with any music these days. i like this guy, not saying that he is the next tudor but he does some good live hand gesture noise that i find interesting

Electric then electronic was a big wave of novelty that hit and receded, for novelty aspect, for 'average listener'... most ppl doing tunes on computers these days are no different to blues guitarists sending off for cheap guitars and harmonicas cos its the easiest way to get their vibe out. (that's a good thing I think - tho modular stuff is different.) Ppl should really look at these older heads who had fuckloads of ideas, that can be a lot easier to implement now.. Shoulders of giants & all that. And we haven't even mentioned Stockhausen :)

(the rainforest thing i saw with iMacs was a TCP/IP rainforest - they would bounce sounds/events off each via the network! Though there were speakers and mics suspended from the ceiling come to think about it.. hmm)
