perverse lottery

its weird how its a phenomena almost entirely contained to
America, the scale of it anyway, the levels of
frustration/angst there must be terrible totally toxic
culture mix it with guns and you get this shit

fuck I didn't think of that, I heard they are spending £30
million on security alone, while they take all the
'undesirables' off the street, sickening stuff especially in
the same year of Grenfell, I think I will have to stop
reading the news cos I know Im starting to sound really
bitter and twisted but im not really

terrible and it seems, if they arm the teachers...then it
will be hospital shootings....then if they arm doctors
...library shootings....and so on.

the only way this will be solved is encasing your children
in ceramic ballistic armour you find on tanks

i
but i think armour is illegal there ( or is that uk?) you
are not allowed to defend yourself with stab or bullet proof
armour.

not allowed to defend yourself in your own home unless you
get stabbed first (and even then go easy).and you can't wear
a stab proof vest in areas where people get stabbed allot.

apparently its legal over here, but illegal in some states
in US for some insane reason

insane that its even a conversation really,

imagine being age 6 worried you will get shot, playing in
the playground or you will get stabbed or acid attacked in
london.

what the hek is going on in this world? i had no fears like
this as a kid. its not fair for these children.

but we cant take all the knives and vans and chemicals and
criminals will always have guns even when banned. good
people will hand them over.

yes the acid attacks and stabbings are terrible, im not a
conservative however even I can see punishment is not
proportional to the crime, even if it wouldn't serve as a
deterrent. I really don't know how I would resolve this
situation,

do conservative want tougher sentences?

I know Alan b'stard wanted to bring back hanging ...public
televised hanging.

yes lool they are always like bring back borstal, capital
punishment! bring back the birch!

I must admit I don't care too much what the do to hardened
criminals but I don't think its a deterrent I think we need
preventative measures rather than deterrents that don't
work. People who kill other people don't consider the
consequences or they don't give a shit

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2018-05-18 17:16 [#02552073]

also the reason im against capital punishment is that in the
past the police pin crimes they cant solve on mentally
challenged people like stefan kiszko or whatnot. Ive never
forgotten that poor guy, it was sodding obvious he wasn't
guilty

Yes those who want to bring it back, cant imagine for a
second themsleves or family members being hung or care to
much about others being wrongly accused. still i think id
prefer being hung than life imprisonment. ? maybe : ?

if you bookmark " who shot alan bastard " you'll have a
laugh on that one, great ep on capital punishment.

This won’t stop. The threads will.

Today 100 people died in a plane crash. Quite thrilling
usually, but I guess nothing beats a mentally fragile loner
killing people.

Call me cold, but I can’t start feeling sad, or outraged.
I don’t care anymore. I have empathy for the families. I
understand that for all those involved it’s a life
changing event. But for us lot? We can’t even begin to
fathom how much shit happened today on this planet. But yeah
we focus on “moments” and then forget. I find it lame.

The news outlets will always make sure to portray victims as
outstanding citizens, to entice the drama. Because hey, a
good person dying is far worse that a lesser person dying!

This is why the news sucks, freqy. It sucks because it turns
us into falsely concerned retards, not because they’re run
by lizards.

hey this is hypers thread.

Did you think lizard people ran the media? lol, you dafty!!
: p

rustlle, I still do feel genuinely sad, but i know what you
mean it is so frequent now, so many death stories. it is
overwhelming and tiring.

was it 100 people in that plane. thats horrible.

we were so bombarded by royal wedding story things today as
well.

yeah I agree with what you say really, I did feel sad when I
saw the vid of the girl saying how she felt it was
inevitable. Its depressing to think that yes these threads
will go away before any change is enacted, its a very
cynical thing to think but I think your right about that

I disagree about the falsely concerned thing, I mean im not
going to lie and say I shed a tear about it as its numbing
in its regular occurrence, but yes I don't like it because
it offends basic human decency, I genuinely wish it would

I wonder what happened in the uk ,france germany, italy
sweeden and so forth when they took their guns? did they
have school shootings then? I wonder what the newspapers
read back on those days..was it a case of "We are civilized
now , no need for them, so hand them over." ?

im not for banning all guns I think there is a civil
liberties issue there, assault rifles and weapons of mass
murder yes, and for sure you need to tighten restrictions
immensely. Its guns but its also a lack of adequate mental
health facilities, if they had a health service over there
people wouldn't have to fork out to get treatment when its
vital

Do you think governments want guns from kindness, or so they
can do what they want without revolt?

There doesn't seem to be and middle ground, willing to
compromise anymore, you go on twitter and you see this
usually liberal/conservative binary thinking that means
everyone is poles apart

I think if it was the 19th century then militias would have
a chance of over throwing a tyrannical government, I don't
think they have a hope now, considering how heavily armed
the police are, never mind the government so its a bit of a
moot point. its a tricky one isn't it. One one hand you
could have some sort of really tyrannical government that
you want to defend yourself again, but on the other hand you
have lots of paranoid people with big guns who have itchy
trigger fingers and see enemies everywhere. neither
situation is ideal I don't think

I suppose what id do is prosecute parents heavily who let
their kids/ under 18 get their hands on guns. As you see on
these shooters social media profile most of the time they
are handling the guns before the shooting and making
indirect subtle threats

its like we are just little chess type pieces on a large
board being moved around. chess pieces with guns is not good
for a chess master. they want to control us without
resistance.

and i wouldnt mind if they told us what their objective is.
maybe..

but then again if they told us say, millions of family’s
will be culled.. not gonna go down well specially when we
all have guns.

yeah I mean ive no doubt history tells us governments have
acted in terrible, tyrannical ways, I think the civil
liberties issue is a genuine concern. its a hypothetical
concern though, I mean we have kids blowing each other away
and that seems like a more pressing issue. I don't know if
guns would do any good at this point in human history when
the other side has such advanced weapons as tanks and
ballistic missiles, you might as well have a insurrection
with swords/bows and arrows for all the good it would do us

through culture and art and discussion, but it takes such a

When I see things like the social credit system in china and
things like how mass media has become I do really worry
about the future of humanity, it will be too late before
people realise what is going on, its subtle and insidious
and there will be a final coup that no one will hardly be
aware of. It sounds paranoid to say but im only going by
what history teaches

never in human history has the power of information been

control over the mind you don't need to control the body

Its obvious to me the way this is going, the road to hell is
paved with good intentions, I reckon a lot of this are
implemented to make things more efficient to begin with, but
they are technologies that are so powerful that they will be
