Sorry I don't mean to make anyone paranoid, perhaps im a fatalist really but its the way I see technological progression, just see how every other technology was abused through out human history, im sure there is some really good philosopher who says it in much better terms than me |

We can’t not notice the other side of the story. That Elliot Rodgers still has followers, that there was a whole Reddit area for people like him. That he’s a hero to some. Only in the US though. In high school or whatever they call it, they cultivate this idea that looks, and athleticism amongst males is tops. It leaves you with people who feel left out and alone. If such a person happens to suffer from a mental illness, had obsessive thoughts, and feed the paranoia that’s eating them up, with access to guns, and with little to no access to poor medical care in the first place, then why are why o l’y focusing on the dead? |

yes I think that is a real point, I think bullying is more institutionalised over there for some reason, this jock/nerd thing. yes dusty we need to know more of why these kids hurt and broadcast that too. imagine how upset people will be in the future when a guy has just one social point and cant get a girlfriend or hospital appointment. some people will find new ways to hurt other than guns. |

well that's my feeling im not exactly a psychologist, I think the pressure to conform in school is great so if you are marginalising other people you are separating yourself off, becoming more conformist |
