so i girl wants to be a star in hollywood, and she doesnt live up to her idealized expectations... so she kills herself... so what the heck happens in between? what does the cowboy represent? why the guy dressed like a woman with a silly blue wig at the end? and the creepy homeless person? and all the references to all his past works, or are they references? i'm so confused.... please explain in 1500 words or less...

If you went to that movie expecting a tangable plot, and came out thinking that their was one and it just went over your head, I don't think you quite understood it.
Enjoy it for what it is. Don't overintellectualize it. That will ruin it.

No... totally way off different girls.
Besides. The girl in Mullholand Drive did an amazing job. Tank girl girl can't act worth her salary.

so how many girls is their really? there is the main blonde who is "innocent girl" and is also "junkie-ish loss of innocence girl", and "discoving lesbo girl" bridging the gap. there is the dark haired girl, who is "never was innocent woman" and "amnesiac who doesnt really want to know the dark truth woman", and "blonde wig woman" to avoid becoming herself. and the blonde that the midget wants to be in the stupid musical. and the dark haired woman in 12 who is suppossed to be in 17, and the dark haired woman who is dead in 17 but is suppossed to be in 12, and "junkie loss of innocence girl" killing herself in the bed who the dead dark haired woman was "killed". .... because she could not have what she wanted... the dark lesbian lover? she wanted fame on the screen so the old people could watch her, and the old people follow her and hound her because she let them down? ... but it is all on tape... everything is just an act, how can anybody every really know what is real and what is Memorex?

i'm glad i get a chance to piss on this movie. what a horrible piece of shit it truly is. i call it a well orchestrated complete wast of time. why go to the trouble of learning film making skills if you'll never be able to use them right. someone please let Lynch in on it cause i think he really doesn't know.
he makes a film people have to watch over and over again to get and idea or understanding it, but makes it in such a way that you don't even want to put it back on to try. Lynch is crap, and he just keeps getting worse.
