I always enjoy Martin Amis's writing, I've not read Asbo, the last one I read was The Zone of Interest (which, for a novel about the Holocaust, I really enjoyed). I've never read a duff one of his, The Information got lukewarm reviews at the time but I thought it was great (and I know best). I'd like to re-read it, and Money one day, I remember being particularly affected by that one. I think the only one I was ever a bit "meh" about was Dead Babies. There ends the definitive review of Martin Amis. |

IMO Nietzsche is the rosetta stone to understanding the very weird political moment we live in, which he partly caused and partly predicted.
