millennial is such a broad term as to be useless.

there is a vast difference developmentally between those who
spent their formative years in the shadow of widespread
internet use and those who didn't

Humanity needs to stop putting a name on everything and
everything. It’s nice to spot patterns, we tend to enjoy
that, but there’s a fine line between “a genre” and
“a slight change in the beat”. I was talking about the
stupidity we’ve reached when it comes to genres in music.

You could have said “ER”, but had to go all fancy on me.
I used to watch that show. Stopped after a while but it was
good (at the time at least).

Btw you ponce, I don’t think that at the time people down
the pub we’re going “oh, did you see Emergency Room last
night”. Ponce.

ER was great, i used to watch that too. i can't remember all
the ins and outs of it now but i remember carter getting
high on his own supply, all getting busted the poor bastard

It was fresh, and changed the game a little. The game was
really changed a little later with the Sopranos. But yeah,
E,regency Room was pretty cool. I rem the name Noah Wyle
(Carter) from the intro. Doug Ross went on to do quite well
(the actor), and I like that actress who plays a nurse (wow
her name just came to me: Abby!) who we see in bits and
bobs, now and then (the Affair). I rem that “hot chick”
all proper, who gets AIDS, can’t re, if she was a nurse or
doctor. Doctor of course, for maximum effect.

oh yeah don't even get me started on the sopranos, just
awesome. so many great scenes, i've seen every episode
multiple times now. i was convinced i could talk to james
gandolfini in the afterlife with some of my schizo biz, lol

means "he"

if i had to describe the 90s, before the internet...
coca-cola had some promotional gimmick: plastic cap codes
from plastic coke bottles could be entered via an 800 number
for a "free" voicemail box. phone phreaking was still a
thing; i wanted to mess with it.... really, though, the
bottom line was this: i was so bored that i was willing to
bike 30 minutes to buy a pair of coca-colas for something i
figured would probably be crap. it was, indeed, crap.
