If they want you on clozapine, and you're having hallucinations that interfere with your sleep, you need to let your doctor(s) know immediately. I've had two friends who had psychotic episodes and they both started with lack of sleep / broken sleep. One of them is dead of suicide, one pulled through and I think is now off meds completely. chemical imbalance is no joke and I hope you will be ok. your internet friend, the fleet mouse |

i've heard clozapine described as "the rolls royce of antipsychotics" by one of the doctors in here but yeah the blood tests are a pain, i'm on something else mainly cos of that. i didn't want to wade into the thread needlesly as every psychosis is different but you have my sympathy, hallucinations are worse at night i find. oddly enough i've had succubus-related ones myself, 4 extremely beautiful women/spirits sent to bargain for my soul when psychosis took on a religious flavour. only rarely did things turn tactile though, and that was when some sort of weapon like a mace on a rope was being swung towards my face, not succubus stuff. be well man, i'm usually on here every day so if you want to compare notes with nutcase shit or want an inpatient's perspective you can always give us a shout |
