This place will go, eventually. Who will have the last
post, and what will it Say?

I’ve enjoyed this place. It’s gone to shit now really,
but it’s still a part of my life. So I suppose you’re
all part of my life. Yikes!

I hope not though, I hope we can all join hands in unison in
a horizontal line and walk over that green hill too a
brighter dawn

What will be the status of this message board when the whole
universe finally collapses .. or lets say when the sun
expands into a red giant and swallows the earth? What traces
will there be left of Xltronic?

that's what I always wonder about, assuming entropy is
correct, then when everything dissipates into a flat state
of nothingness and the vacuum fluctuates out of existence,
does that mean then the exact same conditions before the big
bang exist, and everything will happen exactly the same way
again, or will it always be slightly different

my intuition based on some features of the universe we
experience would be the following.

there are obviously patterns in nature that repeat. the
cycle of the seasons repeats every ear, you (and other
animals) wake up and go back to sleep again roughly every
day, ... the moon spins around the earth, the earth spins
around the sun, the sun spins around the center of the
galaxy ... and so on. But any given cyclesis not a mere
exact repetition of the prior cycle ... but there are larger
developments based on these cycles. For instance every day
you wake up and sleep: But there are larger developments
within that repetitive cycles - for instance, you don't just
repeat waking up and going to sleep every day, but you
also become a better and better xltronic poster, or
complete some work of art of whatever, or become more and
more of a failure, too.

So ... my point is that the repetition of cycles in nature
shouldn't lead to the false conclusion that these are
absolute repetitions. There seems to be an
over-riding development (at least to some extent) based
on these
repetitions.

... SO my guess would be that after the universe ends, if it
does, a new big bang will happen and the universe will be
SLIGHTLY different .... just like every repetition of the
seasons and every day/night cycle is slightly different ...

but Who Knows? I don't

yes a permutation like a fractal, is their infinite
permutations that's the question, if its finite every
permutation could be run through an infinite amount of
times, because time can only be experienced through a mental
framework, we could essentially die and be reborn
immediately afterwards forever in infinite/ or finite
permutations

it could all just come to a grinding halt, but as you say
nature seems to have a cyclical nature, at least in as far
we experience in our limited lifespan, god knows how many
time this has happened before, perhaps its all ready run
through a infinite amount of times, perhaps this is the
first and last, if you subscribe to probability theory then
we have all had this conversation before but we just didn't
knowit

Every message you type, have typed and will type is
happening “at the same time”, and is infinite. Some
argue.

No I just meant it’s basically just a few of us now. I
like it fine now or I wouldn’t be here, but I do have a
certain nostalgia for certain times. But yeah it’s fine
now, though I’m not sure it’s any more real.
