I like how you treated amen break in the first one, I like the vibe but I wouldn't tell it's a track by you. maybe if it would be half slower and not with amen break ? I'm used to your tracks usually going somewhere, and usually somewhere cool and/or exciting so this one is too short for me to say much. Earlier today when I was listening to versions of Nils Frahm's "peter" I thought "hell, maybe a good way for me to stop the writing/mixing block would be doing a remix, just like old days" . remixing is always a good idea and brings ideas to a lazy head like mine. Maybe I'd try to make my version of the first track you linked to or just do something with the loop you posted, maybe that would inspire you to do something further with it, in return. yeah I know almost a month passed without any reaction to this thread - I appreciate you making it tho. I hope it does not offend you, Ampi. my chrome browser has about a hundred tabs with things to check out, I finally decided to check out one of the first tabs in the queue. time flies so fast, so many things to check out [most of the tabs are new Skyrim mods I haven't tested yet, I started new savegame with all DLC's a while ago, this game and modding it never gets boring to me]. thank you again for sharing these. I like how the bass is more audible in the second one. again, amen break is NICELY cut up. sounds like a relaxing track but sped up a lot. I'd slow it down so the amen sounds heavier, maybe muffle it a bit so it goes into background and would enjoy more the vibes/pads NOW playing in the background. maybe I have my own vision of your music based on the 'ol AMPIMAX/AMPMX stuff ? most likely I do. maybe I'm thinking how to make it more "oldampified" ? most likely I do. keep up don't stop, tc |
