Here in France, I must say it's not so cold. But very rainy.
May we open a new topic?

it has been quite wet and windy fall,
which isnt all too unsual for the season,
but it has been so wet that farmers dont know where to store

their shit. they could not get their slurry onto the
fields,
cause their trucks would get stuck in the mud, so the
tankers
are literally overflowing with shit.

tis chilly, I was borrowing my girlfriends gloves last
night, and the woman behind the till told me I had them the
wrong way round. I have to visit my mothers house everyday
to make sure her fire is on, otherwise she might get
pneumonia, make her hot drinks etc.. etc..

fire

Woke up last night because I couldn’t breathe. My lungs
where really dry and compressed, so I would drink a fair
amount of fluid in order to be able cough comfortably. Had
to do that four to five times during the night. It’s
acrually scary, and I feel for those who suffer from asthma.

what caused it? the cold? used to happen to me every night
because of dust but now i take an antihisthamine every day
and have an inhaler

I’m not in the greatest place, so have been hiding behind
15 spliffs a day lately. My lungs have been telling me it
has to stop. Plus I’m not eating lately, and ate loads
before going to bed, I felt my stomach was dilated, and from
what I’ve read those were the perfect ingredients for what
I had.

Mad how simple it can be: I felt dry, and yet that I needed
to cough. Drink a load and suddenly you’re lungs have the
fluid necessary for a good cough. Each time it happened, I
drank enough and it seemed to help massively.

Yeah it's pretty crazy. Hope you're ok tho russell! i would
say drink a glass of water before bed but if i do that i get
up 3 times in the night for a piss.

Dusty go swimming every night for 7 days.....30 mins
sessions...tire out your lungs out! and eat all your fave
food and stay away from people that cause stress and/or
smoke.

treat the desire to smoke as an illness...eventually it goes
away... you think it wont but it will. it comes in waves.

i dont think about it any more. it really is possible.

Freqy, I know you mean well, but I’m not going swimming.

As for your illness analogy, I kicked heroin, alone.

I wish you weren’t so preachy. If you knew me, you
wouldn’t.

You’re such a reactionary. It’s sad. Stop judging all
the time.
I’ve been a staunch defender of craziness in this whole
ongoing case, so before you make assumptions, how about you
know the deal?

“...vile message... wouldn’t have bothered..”

Fuck off.

"judging , sad, preaching , reactionary case of craziness
and assumptions.

That's amazing.

All I did was offer good advice to help you stop smoking.
why else would you tell us?

I had no right not to help.

Then your perviness got all intermingled in the conversation
I had to back out.

I just do not want you to die from smoking, or be ill from
smoking..or miss smoking ...even have to think about
smoking. If you replace it with something new and healthy
eventually the craving can go. I am not preaching.

Yes you judged me for being “vile”, when in fact I’ve
been supporting crazone all along. It was a stupid joke
maybe, but didn’t deserve your righteous comment.

Also I’ve stopped cigarettes, and don’t wish to stop
smoking weed, though from this Christmas on I’ll be
vaporising it.

Also, I don’t think you quite know how much I know about
healthy living and techniques. My wife is a shrink and
hypnotherapist. I know healers, nutritionists, therapists of
all sorts, shamans...you’d be surprised if you knew me,
freqy.

You smoke 15 spiffs a day and are severely ill with lung
issues

and are attacking some'one' who wants to help you.

Now you just want to win an argument about it.

Love, advice and friendship is best for a smoker, not
silence or sympathy.

be scaldingly hot to begin with, my gf has to use them as
she has very cold feet

but yes they are more or less a necessity when it gets cold,
I'm wearing three layers at the moment and 4 when I go out,
I couldn't find my gloves today as a result my hands are
colder than usual, my mum has a strange ailment were the
skin on her hands split open in cold weather, very painful
apparently.

I once talked to this woman whose arm was burned. She wanted
her hot-water bottle to be adequately hot so she tried to
pour boiling water into it. Then the plastic-bottle more or
less "exploded" and burned her. .... So it's reasonable to
be cautious, I guess.

−454.76 °F by the way. So winter on earth is still
extremely warm all things considered.
