yourself to a door bell?

unless of course it is trigger for some incredible
softwarez?

i was like, uhg nooo,
why would anyone have mustard in it until i realized its
custard of course.
very strange sometimes when you get truly appalled by
something and wonder why the hell, when it actually is you
expecting something bad that isnt really there...

freqy, yes, the posties sometimes do this
and they put stuff into the staircase,
or stick a parcel with a record in it into a letterbox with
one corner

i bought a wireless doorbell many years ago. setting it up,
it instructed me to set some "code" jumpers on both the
sender and the receiver. there were 2^8 possible "codes" and
you set both the sender (button) and receiver (doorbell)
with the same "code" so your doorbell-button doesn't ring
your neighbor's doorbell and vice versa.

i thot: what about a small circuit to step through every
possible code, a larger transmitter, and a peak altitude
point in a residential neighborhood?

probably against fcc regulations.

we used to play knock and run. knock the door and run. tie
the end of a piece of string to a knocker and yank it from
50m away. when we were 9 years old.

but Epics ...what you are suggesting is like a knock and run
Hiroshima!! all from the comfort of your own living room .

you’ll be all over main stream news.
