i've bitched about this track previously (years ago i think). my very own, not very personal anecdote concerning this track is: i tend to forget about tuss, the fact that aphex is tuss and released an EP + LP named as this, which is both OK and not OK in my book. but in MY playlist, TUSS does not frequent very often, see, eh? the name, i think, contributes to its forgetfulnessness, i think, yeah? well, anyway, this time my anecdote concerning the era of the tuss is this (in a foobar2000 scenario): "playback / random button" -> meh tune -> "playback / random button" -> "meh tune" -> "playback / random button" - SYNTHACON 9.. and then my thoughts are transported to a TRAIN without BRAKES, it's fucking ridiculous, doing 160 mph, doing turns it's not supposed to at that speed -- man, it's like a fucking rollacoastah over here -- and people are tossed from side to side, it's carnage, slaughter, broken bones, cardiac arrest ..... but all of a sudden, with some divine help, the train reduces its speed, returns on track and passengers are no longer tossed around like dolls and normality is reintroduced.... I FUCKING LOVE THIS TRACK |
