I wonder who controlled hitler?

how did he get the funding to bring Germany out of the
terrible mess it was in.

They could not buy a loaf of bread with a suitcase full of
bank notes ( Rentenmark?)!

Germany was supported by Ford motor company during the 2nd
world war!

they had brand new Ford engines in their vehicles

Ford used slaves to build the engines that would be used
against US and British (all allies in fact)

"When America entered the war a few years later, it was
desperately short of rubber because Standard Oil, again
under Teagle's leadership, refused to produce any synthetic
rubber for the American military, because Teagle had
transferred the patent rights for synthetic rubber to IG
Farben, a German company. Because of the patents it had sold
to Germany, Standard Oil also interfered with America's
production of synthetic ammonia (for use in explosives),
acetic acid (another crucial war material), and methanol
(another fuel additive). Standard and Teagle, again
protecting IG Farben's patents, had also worked to prevent
the US military from obtaining paraflow, a crucial
high-altitude lubricant used in fighters and bombers.
Though Teagle himself had two sons in the Army Air Force,
Standard Oil, through its subsidiaries, continued to supply
Germany with oil. Faced with a United States Department of
Justice investigation, Teagle convinced President Franklin
D. Roosevelt that a suit would hurt the war effort, instead
choosing to pay an out-of-court fine. The result was a fall
in public favor for Standard Oil and the resignation of
Teagle in 1942, one year short of the mandatory retirement
age.[8] He was replaced by Ralph W. Gallagher.[9]
Despite the settlement, for the duration of the Second World
War, Standard Oil, under deals Teagle had overseen,
continued to supply Nazi Germany with oil. The shipments
went through Spain, Vichy France's colonies in the West
Indies, and Switzerland. Standard's oil shipments from the
United States to Spain were briefly halted in January 1944
due to American public pressure, then began again in May
1944. Spain, meanwhile, was shipping 48,000 tons a month of
American oil to Germany.
In 1962, Teagle died at the age of 83 in Byram, Connecticut
after a long illness"

I knew that America companies supplied Germany during the
war but I had no idea how extensive it was, why don't they
teach this stuff in school so it can be avoided, it all
could have been avoided or nullified how many people died as
a result of this limitless greed

All these people did not want war (like we do not)...yet
look at the pictures, of the dead people, Europeans, just
like us...in the remains of great western architecture.
Shocks me to the core. especially when you see the footage,
pre war, of everyone getting along and smiling for the
camera.

More people died in Dresden than both of the Japanese
nuclear bombings combined. and those good people did not
want war either.

yes I was thinking that all those people who wanted nothing
to do with war were the ones to suffer most, it could happen
to any of us if we aren't aware

when there is less chance of political backlash, like the
crusades for instance I think they are seen through a very
different lens nowadays as it would be at the time

yes its true, I think bbc used to be a bit more reliable,
seems like its totally politicised nowadays, anyway yes that
documentary I think is reliable as it says the blame for
Dresden was on Churchill who ordered it, and the chiefs of
staffs of both air forces

yeah the thing is freqy the bbc has put out loads of stuff
that is basically what you say - like the iraq war was a
lie. the bbc said that loads of times so did all the
mainstream.

main stream media isnt biased. its toothless and weak cos
the times are competative. so it puts out things that are
full of popular platitudes and dosnt do much in depth
questioning. its weak because audiences demand weak
material.

you demand weak material. you set the bar very low. blair
and northern ireland peace? BORING. i like the stuff abuot
him being a war criminal over and over and over again -
thats you i just did an impression of

I don't get your passionate stance regarding the Iraq war.

Colin Powell lied, and admitted to lying. The WOMD discourse
was totally flawed. Surely you understand that.

I don't hate Blair, he's also been a scapegoat, but you are
very passionate when it comes to the man.

one thing: fake news.
