I was trying to help with the understanding that German
people were suffering greatly and he rescued them. In the
end they were almost wiped out completely as if it were the
people to blame.

many people seem to think all Germans were evil for saying
heil hitler in the old film footage. But they had no idea
what was going to happen. no idea ww2 was going to happen
and be hell on Earth for almost all people on both sides.

Why did it happen, who profited? Maybe there is more to
what they teach us at school or on the history channel?

it is an interesting subject and is very relevant to
understanding our world today.

He should not have raged war across the world.

power obviously went to his head.

ruined so many lives. including many of my family.

so tell me what is there to like about Hitler or what
happened after he rescued the German people and raged war
NOTHING!!!! ww2 was worse than we can imagine.

Hitler was a human being. He's now turned into a bit of a
Walt Disney villain, and that's problematic because it
dehumanises him. It's like he never really existed, because
he was so evil He was actually a sensitive person, if not
too sensitive. It turned him into a mental case.

Also the amount of drugs he was on in the later years are
just insane.

These are not excuses I'm finding for him. He was a very
twisted and sick man, but he was a human, whether people
like it or not.

Freckles, AMPI, hypers: have you seen der Untergang?

ive seen the scene that is always dubbed with subtitles for
comedic effect, id like to watch the film entirely it looks
good.
The film about the wannsee conference is interesting as it
shows how cold and methodical they were in enacting a plan
of mass genocide, why none of them at all stood up and said
wait a sec guys this might be a bit much, how that many
sociopaths congregated together is really weird, unless
there was some other psychological phenomenon going on that
I am unaware of

Seen both, but the Untergang takes the spot for me. Simply
amazing. Don't watch it dubbed, but please watch it. First
time I see Hitler portrayed in this manner. I was physically
sick for a few days after watching it, it was a really
intense experience. I'm prone to this though.

Yeah the famous YouTube scene. Some great ones like him
ranting about Radiohead going "electro".
