Which does everyone prefer....???
While I am soo in love with the Amnesiac album...And I have
to admit, most of "I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings" is
pretty bland....

"Like Spinning Plates" done with that beautiful piano and
Thom's fucking amazing voice....Man, I personally think the
LIVE version blows the studio cut out of the water.....

Anyone??

Cheers.

amonbrune, sigur ros and radiohead were here in the recent
months..i missed sigur ros, i dont know why i didnt go, but
radiohead was fantastic..i'd choose live prolly, i prefer
the vocal on the studio, but the arrangement is better live
i think

ok ok, I hear ya on the "like children"
referance....(spelling?)

Its an easy choice for me though, the live version can
literally make me weep if I am feeling bad...=)

And thats ALWAYS a good thing with a song.

i havn't heard it live.... but i must say this is one of my
all time favorite songs ever.
i made a hoodie with the amnesiac album cover on one side
and then lyrics from this song on the other of the front....
it came out awesome.

I prefer the studio version personanally, the
reversey-sounding synths do it for me.

offline morge from United Kingdom on 2004-06-13 05:38 [#01237711]

s'gotta be the studio version.
but i do like to listen to the studio version backwards. the
swirls turn into little drum rolls and the vocals sound even
more ethereal

Amateur is such a misleading word in this case. The Nannou
vid is quite great too!
