BEST IDM ALBUM EVER

taxidermist u r one of the few people that actually consider
rest proof to be one of the best idm albums in history....

im glad to hear that cuz i have a similar opinion on rest
proof....

but im really sad that most people cant comprehend rest
proof's greatness just cuz its positive and cheerfull
album,and not "dark and experimental"...

idm fans tend to get very dull when it comes to this, they
think every idm music has to be hard to listen to,dark, and
noisy...

Sniff, this topic smells old and musty and dusty.

I'd say Drukqs, actually...

Hey, I said Drukqs way up THERE, too! I'm nothing if not
consistent.

It's not that I don't find The Girl With The Sun In Her Head
'intelligent' the song is unbelieveable, it's the fact that
In-Sides isn't IDM. Not that it's a big deal, but a song
can be 'intelligent' and not be considered IDM. C'mon man
common sense.

well I'd say MHTRTC by Boards of Canada is my favorite IDM
album... maybe even my fav of all time... if you can call it
IDM, but it is considered IDM by most people here, so I'm
keeping this as my pick... however, right now I'm really
liking SAW85-92...

How about song.

My Red Hot Car - Shakes my ass more than any other "IDM"
artists track

I consider just about anything that doesn't sound like it
came from MP3.COM, intelligent. By that definition my
favorite IDM album would be -

Juno Reactor - Beyond the Infinite

to those who are nominating drukqs...
i would like to know do you actually consider drukqs as the
best aphex album in the whole career ??

i think -saws- and -richard d james- and even -i care- is
far better that drukqs...

I dont like rdj album very much at all, way too goofy and
short and at times just corny. i dont understand when people
review albums, say drukqs did nothing new that he already
did do on rdj? theyre complete opposites.
