graphics like that, like morphic dolphins flying through
black holes

crystal entity? is that a game?

i found this!

13:34 Amorphous Androgynous - Auto Pimp environments -
(unreleased, later on Quigley, 1993)
- Auto Pimp environments in their demo stage...
- Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard - Everybody does it it's not
my problem - in Blade Runner (1982) - you can hear this a
few times in the next tracks too.

yeah i saw that its referenced on the internet as a sample
from the film, but im not convinced it doesn't have the same
cadence and flow to my ears

it says "in their demo stage"

so maybe changed it cause of cost? i have no idea.

yes they might not have been able to get clearance cos ford
agent wanted loads of money so they just mumbled it
themselves

i had this idea for an album composed entirely of illegal
samples, all of which have been processed to the point where
no one can recognize any of them (let alone sue). i don't
have a sampler, though, so maybe someone else feels like
doing this one

offline freqy on 2017-03-16 07:03 [#02515697]

i wonder at what point a sample is no longer a thing that
can be challenged.

i mean if i reverse and pitch up..if i get caught....even
though it doesnt sound alike, i still get sued...so the
owner owns not only the original sound but any modification
of it? Even if i make the original sound like a sneezing
turtle. if they know i used their sound to get there ..i get
sued?

i know this planet. i know its stupid fucking shit. this is
how it would pan out: after spending months making a
brilliant album full of totally illegall, totally
unrecognizable samples, someone would probably sue me for
melody infringement of a song i'd never heard before
