i'm torn between trying to be constructive vs. adding fuel to the fire, so this post will probably be a mix of both. when he showed up, i was not finding myself eager to interact with him. god knows how many people feel the same about me, though (especially back when i was drinking), so how can i fault him for that? besides, this is xltronic -- the only baraindance board that's more or less left me be as i post all sorts of weird shit -- and who am i top stop him, or suggest he change? so i sat his rants out; this worked fine enough. until, one day, he covered a song from jazz jackrabbit 2 in fruity loops or something, and because of my avatar, it was utterly impossible to him that i not find it amazing and shower him with attention and suck his dick for ten minutes. first and foremost, my avatar is from the jazz jackrabbit 1. i was not a fan of 2 at all. second, i tried to be kind anyways, because there was a sort of innocence to it: look what i did! it felt cruel to not try and reply. but this meant interacting with him, and it didn't go well. i failed to meet his minimum threshold of towering praise and he flipped out and now he probably hates me forever. which is a shame, because it's not like i hated his remix. it stayed on my playlist and i danced to it a couple times when it came by and if i hated it i would have just deleted it. i didn't delete it |

Your remix reminds me of anima by Vladislav delay a bit. As fleetmouse pointed out, I meant funsies, if it thought AMPI was always serious I wouldn't have made this thread. I was a bit tipsy I guess. Something we've all been guilty of here from time to time. I really don't have a problem though. Xlt is really interesting right now. Not many people, and bar the Mohamed and Hyperflake bromance, really love each other here, but I do feel there's a kind of respect going on, even if it's not always friendly. So many posters do my head in beyond belief, but I always come back. One day this place will go, and it will be really weird going online for a while and losing the habit of checking zilty. Apparently Phobiazero is still keen on doing something though. Yes it's true! ...though as EMT points out, it's nice to be left the fuck alone. |
