prodigy sound was great on the experience album , think it
used analogue compressors, analogue desk..had an analogue
feel..although digital samplers were used of course.

I like Italian history and Egyptian history, basically the
two best civilizations ever, if you had a Greek ancestor you
would be like the next plato possibly

hyperspeed (g-force part 2) gives me a mental visualization.
you know how the cards flip over in the card house in mario
3? how the coins rotate? now imagine like eight rows of that
going from left to right in streams, in time to the beat.
inside of the beat, they flip over to form patterns that
appear to be moving from left to right twice as fast. or
something

it's probably more or less what liam saw staring at a bunch
of drum machine grids going 300bpm

charly (trap) now. i only go the charly EP like three years
ago. the track "pandamoneum" is amazing. how did it get
buried? anyways, there are good mixes of charly on there
too, and it's odd to hear Your Love (Not Remix) as well
after like fifteen years of only knowing Your Love (Remix)

Everybody in the Place (155 And Rising) contains cartoon
character Woody Woodpecker's trademark "huHuHaHAA" played on
a hardcore rave synth. supposedly he was called "The
Prodigy" because he could remember any melody he heard. i
always figured this implied a fair deal of hip-hop theft,
and here, indeed, i seem to have caught him red-headed.

has anyone else ever noticed that woody woodpecker is buried
in the middle of a prodigy track? probably. but i've never
heard anyone mention it before

i figure if i ever need a quick buck i can put "weather
experience" on a CD in a glossy shrinkwrap and label it
"Weather Chakra Meditation" and have grocery stores sell it
for the proverbial jnasato "five dolla." the people who buy
that crap would never recognize a prodigy song and anyone
who would buy a prodigy CD would never buy that crap. i
figure you could get away with it for two or three years at
least until someone in the nose herd it down the hall or
someth
