i spent a good while tweaking all of these options, getting
simcity 2000 to run smoothly. it's a bit of a maze. scaling
method "supereagle" is explained thus in the documentation:

i know what opengl is, but what's the difference between
"surface" and "overlay" again?

simcity 2000 is running perfectly, but i've lost interest,
closed DOSBox, and now i'm reading about SDL (Simple
DirectMedia Layer) for no particular reason. thank you for
reading my post about dosbox-0.74.conf

Supported scalers which still need descriptions: supereagle

i recommend d fend reloaded so you dont have to keep
editing the text file, its a very good interface for DOS
box

i generally use supereagle as well

could you describe it, for me and the DOSBox wiki?

$ sudo pacman -Ss reload

extra/datefudge 1.20-1
A program (and preload library) to fake system date
community/proxychains-ng 4.12-1
A hook preloader that allows to redirect TCP traffic of
existing dynamically linked programs through one or more
SOCKS or HTTP proxies

neither of these seem relevant.

it's rather depressing how torrents have dried up. i doubt
they'll ever completely re-genie that bottle, but it is
cramping my style. anyone know where i can get OMF:2097? i
think they might have even released that as freeware a few
years back

i can't get to and now the internet doesn't have them,
