aphex said some interesting things about dreams. i don't have lucid dreams. every time i've realized i was dreaming, i promptly woke up. i'm too tense, really. i just lurch awake... ...but, then, i'm just happy to sleep properly at all. i'll have the occasional wicked intense dream that leaves me brooding, but the bits i remember on a day to day basis are more like my brain at a hotel in mexico, watching reruns of my waking-life concerns dubbed into spanish. boring data salad. i think it does me a favor walling 'em off... if something's important, i remember it clear enough. as far as i know, anyways. there's a middle zone that's sort of, "i know, mom" because i feel like i'm being beaten over the hed with the same concerns i'd been working deeply hard to untangle while getting awake. my brain is more or less like, "yes, you do know your life is a mess, right?" i know, mom anyways, to answer mohammazazzles's qulaity question: i'm sure i do, but it's nothing worth remembering |
