tell me what's the thing that makes you sit down & mess
with them noises? I'm curious!

it's more or less i'm in the mood and i sit down and go. if
i were to try and coax the right mood out, weed is good.
otherwise, i just sort of sit down and start messing with
things and in under two minutes i'm effectively sitting
catatonic. i've learned it's important to take a moment and
get my posture correct as i'm going to be in that positional
while

other things that prompt the mood include: getting fired up
listening to music, working out, working out to music, and
drugs.

sometimes i simply get a good idea and wander off to

different occurrences happening together at the same moment,
i stop doing everything and do. trying to take a instinctive
habit more than a planned one. its funnier

i am just not set or in control to transpose 'ideas' in
sound.

lol! Some nice feedback here lads!! Thanks a bunch!

Personally, when I usually have a "moment" of inspiration or
whatever, I am not able to do it (work, kids, or too tired).

I however learned to just sit & mess about lately which
actually can work better at times. Especially if I haven't
listened too any music all day.

^ as a serious answer to your question, im always most
productive/creative if i go for a long walk it frees my mind
completely and when i come back and do music its usually
much better than if i had just stayed in all day, why i do
know, the most rural the walk the better, the closer you are
to nature the better, it really works wonders on your mental
well being as well, so it has an added bonus

walking, hiking, gets deep. i miss the parks i used to hike
at daily around the last place i lived. i noticed a lot of
deep stuff went down on walks, especially if you get into a
sort of marching rhythm. i'd typically just walk and stomp
along to an eight bar loop of whatever i was listening to in
the car on the way over. i never decided to do that, it just
sort of started itself. makes perfect sense that after an
hour and a half of that you're properly set to write a
track. your brain is oxygenated with patterns of riddim

half of it

i really love the strings. i also love the things done to
the strings... what generated those strings? you know,
before the things

so far my biggest problem with this track is that it ends
and soundcloud sends me into "gorgon zolla" or something
and, like, god! who puts bacon in mint chocolate chip ice
cream

thanks so much for the feedback Epic, I can really use some
in general.

Can't agree more with the sudden change in tracks on
soundcloud. It takes you from snails to blue pants without
even a second of a breather.

It's not easy to explain how these strings were generated,
but I'll try.... I started with a beat, bass, melody, and
some noises in a very square-ish setup, then I exported it
and added filters through another software, and another...
the end result was done with an editing program, which I is
how I finish most of my tracks...
