it's the "rehab" wing of meadowbrook mental hospital, just across from salford royal. why they call it that i'm not quite sure, mostly just seems to be warehousing the patients in front of 4music all day. it's mixed male and female, there's about 15 of us here, mostly treatment-resistant schizophrenia and depression cases as far as i can tell |

the food's alright if a little bland, had sweet potato chili with roasting tonight and profiteroles with chocolate sauce for pud. they put on activities like "start art" or the bongo-circle of a music group once a week but aside from that it's just telly and cig breaks. i have to spend most of my time lying down cos of my arthritis anyway so i'm on my phone or reading in bed from sun up to sundown |

I just cant conjurer up any enthusiasm today, i woke up and felt like id been in a traffic accident that about sums it. my car got stuck in the snow and my back is shredded from shoveling it out. roommie had the graveyard shift row inAto and my whack schedules all outta sleep. yo. landlord showed up and broke the dishwasher because he has to bodge the electric nightmare in the basement he's been working on ever since i moved in. great, super, no dishwasher all week. i inspected the responsible situation in the basement; lots of exposed copper wire and some lamps hanging by such wire. great, super. maybe the house will catch on fire if i use the wrong lightswitch it's amazing i haven't gotten mad. i think i'm just too tired to get mad. it makes sense -- usually, i'd be rather enjoying not getting mad, but i'm simply too tired to enjoy it |
