here you can make recomendations

this is a great one

get a wind up torch, lots of cheap ones on ebay. when your
electric goes away on holiday and you cant see, you can see
very well with a wind up torch. keep the torch in a place
you will not forget. ontop of a wardrobe or by the fire
extinguisher or what not.

but you must leave it in a safe place, and not throw it in a
random cupboard, else you may not find it.

led wind up torches go on for a long time from just few
winds.

this is a great one

as you know just where freqy's wind-up torch is, go and nick
it. retrofit one of those 12v alarm buzzers in place of the
bulb. replace the torch. find an excuse to hang out at
freqy's house on a night the power is likely to go out

my recommendation is always wash your dishes immediately
after you have ate a meal because any left over food will
fall from the plate easier into the bin, the hot tap will
likely still be warm from when you were using it during
cooking. Also your future self the next morning will thank
you for doing it rather than having rank plates everywhere

seriously though, this is a good one. ideally i'll wash
dishes as i'm cooking. i posit that the hyperbole-and-a-half
cycle of repeated adulthood collapse is largely powered by
the mound of crap that builds up during the deflationary
periods: i'm taking a vacation! i'm spent! fuck it! and you
do feel better....

...but then it's over, and by the time you clean up all the
mess, you feel like crap again. all the normal things still
need to be done and you are nowhere. fuk

so what i've been trying to do is not go all-out on the
vacation thing. take a vacation, but still keep up on the
dishes and laundry. recovery is much slower. but the
ping-pong waffle of emotion seems dampened

this is a great one

when washing clothes when teh washing machine stops take out
clothes immediately when they are warm ( as soon as the
click happens to release the handle lock)

then give a little shake to shake out creases, hang up the
clothes to dry on a hanger that is not too thin

you no longer need to iron!!

sort of like hyperflax´s washing up trick.

* i meant that by not leaving clothes in the machine after
the final click . they dry flat with minimal creases

thanks.
