Had the rare fortune to pick up a vintage Oberheim DMX at a local pawn shop. Biked it home up some hills on my back. Opened it up. Everything looks good, no stains, dust, corrosion, burnt and disconnected wires, no cracks. It looks like its in excellent condition, only it doesnt power on. Could need a new fuse or power port? Idk but i didnt think they were worth so much until insaw what they were going for. Anyways, id sure like to get it fixed but probably wont. Broken ones are going for 500-700 USD, 1200-1500 working. This ones cosmetically 10/10 but cant seem to get it to power on. Anyone interested in buying it if i throw it up on ebay for less? |

standard operating procedure: check if "its pluged in." check if the fuse needs a new fuse. check for damage inside. test the voltages out of the power supply. throw up on ebay. like, all the fuk ova |

another fine tactic is to goobingle a query like "overheim dxm won't power on" and data mine the misery of every oberheim dmx owner on the internet. also available are shut-ins with nothing to do but answer stupid questions. hello |
