Sweet Child O' Mine has just come on the old wireless.
Shit, this takes me way, way back. Nostalgia is a strange
thing - melancholic yet strangley pleasurable.

This reminds me of an older girl I was infatuated with when
I was 11. I used to lay on my bed, listening to this and
dreaming of her. *Cringe*. More innocent days.

The twat DJ is talking over the guitar solo.

the first LP: appetite for destruction is a fucking classic.
They are a bunch of dicks, of course, but that album is a
killer!!! The rest was more miss than hit... Now that
buckethead stands in for slash, I'm really surprised with
the amount of irony the things are taking

that kind of DJ behaviour is well known to me and should be
reacted against with extreme prejudice.

They were pricks. Appetite still stands up today though.

When is Chinese Democracy out? I think there is a new song
on the End of Days OST.

Have you seen Axl lately? He's well podgy. I saw him wearing
a tracksuit onstage in Las Vegas looking like a pice of
white trash.

Remember Slash's Snakepit? Noooooooo.

Shit probably.

Another rock clasic is on the radio: the Stones' Paint it
Black. Always reminds me of Vietnam films.

yeah, snakepit was the worst of 70's hard rock revisions.
I'm really waiting for that chinese democracy as Buckethead
should be playing on it and perhaps even DJ Disk, as his a
friend of B'head and I think was a part of their last
touring crew, doing warmups or something..

we've been through paint it black some weeks ago: you
started the thread of that name because you heard the track
on the radio.

The two Use Your Illuision albums were a bit much... too
over the top. But the first album was amazing...

Chinese Democracy will be embarrassingly bad, anyway.

so what? Mick jagger is almost 60 and Stockhausen is well
over 70 but he still rocks!!! But I do agree that new album
will prolly be crap.

Sorry. I type on here so much I forget what I've written
previously. It does get tedious when people harp on about
the same thing. My apologies.

What do people think of Geogaddi by the way?

oh, no, not geogaddi, no, NO, NOOOOOOOOOO

Actually, Kodwo Eshun in THE WIRE pissed all over it. And he
was the one who gave MHTRTC a raving review

Yeah but i was thinking how silly it will be if Axl tryes to
pull of some sort of nu metal thing?
