900+ watt microwave, two minutes on high. killer harmonics ...wait, do they have microwaves in europe? i mean, i figure they do, but europe has confunded me before (no dryers?!) and perhaps they're aiming to do it again. more proper advice: phase I: sit down at a real computer and comb through the app store with keywords like: 303, acid, roland, dubstep, and kumquat. open web browser tabs (on your desktop, remember) for anything that seems mustard. once you have around sixty tabs open (e.g. when you get fed up with the repetition) start the next phase. phase II: look at each tab. give it five or ten seconds. is it shit? close the tab. is it russian spyware? close the tab. is it not free? you've opened a tab for a paid app by accident; close the tab (this works better on android than iOS). whittle it down to a dozen. read a few of them more deeply. come up with a shortlist of six or so, and a backup roster of six more. phase III: sit down with your phone and download your short six. spend an hour or three fussing with them. if it sucks, delete it. if it's good, keep it. if you're not sure, let it hang around. phase IV: give it a week. fuss with the apps on the john. use an emulated 303 to find the resonance note of your lower bowel for a laugh. phase V: if you're not content with the roster, go back to phase I and repeat the process i pirated literally hundreds of different VST plugins, and it got to the point where i had litterally ten columns of menus when i pulled up the "add effect" dropdown. even trying all of them was a lot of work. but i was fucking addicted. like a fallout 3 addict hoarding l00t. so, i'm not being flip, here, because shoveling through all the software out there is a bit shit and perhaps you should make a thread asking people for recommendations. |

autorap it makes a rap song out of what you say into it i was just thinking, it would be much more interesting if the developers had interpreted the name of their app as a piece of rhythmic software that rapped about your driving, as you drove. plugs into the OBD-II port and words out to your latest accelerometer readings. mic checks at the lights i'm sure hyperflake is dying to know if the company that developed autorap has released a beta of automangle next. i think it's a horrible name. i'd never plug an app with that name into my OBD-II port PRO TIP: use a cheap tablet pc for music or somethin'. it works on the shitter. it works on the train. what else do you really need? |

what's your use case, mohamzle? what do you want to do with music softwares, and in what context? there will be classical software for professional violin twats, elbow patch noiseware for the autochres, dubstep beatmakers, and approximately seventeen emulations of a roland machine for every song luke vibert has ever put out. you might need a 64-bit integer anyways, i'm derailed out, so now i'm trying to debug your question as a strange and bossy form of kindness. it's too vague. what can we expect back from this fishing expedition? the returns you get back will be directed by the question you ask. if you leave it open-ended, you may get a lot of irrelevant noise. if you'd been more specific, the people that posted an irrelevant noise app might have said: "oh! this is the wrong thing! he wants this other snarpop engine from travoltaware." figure you can expect six or ten replies over a week or two (that aren't me vomiting information) no matter what you ask and this is a limited resource that you should optimize "i want to do phone acid music" is better. "i want to make music on the train" is crap. "i want something as good as dubturbo" is trolling. take yahoo answers as a metaphor. you get one question. it is a huge board with the whole spectrum. yokel to nuts to seven year old kids to nuns to the three or five guys you want and twelve million more you don't. when the base of minds coming back gets so large, the quality of the answer you get back goes off to some limit where it's more or less a mirror image of the quality of the question that was asked. obviously, the best questions can only be asked by those who already know the answers: welcome to the internet; RTFM. |

If I remember correctly through cydia you can enable the copying of any app over USB. There you can go to a torrent site, search for whatever app you want, download and copy it over without paying. Pirating software basically! Anything you want you can have. |

i managed to have root access in the iphone from both the computer and the device, although i dunno whats the use. maybe in the future it will come in handy i downloaded a tabla software, all i get after unrar its this .ipa file i dont know what do do with it also i tried downloading a ringtone via Cydia from the ZodTDD & MacCiti source, i dont know where it ended though, it doesnt show up in the ringtone list |

i located the folder whit the other .ipa files in my computer and put the tabla file in it, i syncornized, and now it appeared into itunes and on the device. i touched the darkened icon on the iphone and now its say its installing it. its taking some time i dont know if it will succeed |

i did it! i had to install ipa installer and put the ipa file in the downloads folder via the root access tweak i did before, had to install another app (i had to add a new source on the list) otherwise the ipa couldnt be processed by ipa installer, retried and it did work. |

by the way one housemate told me this is the 4 cos the 3 is curved, i did a search on google images and the 3 is actually round at the edges, i checked and this is indeed the four. the jailbreaking app says it's 3,1. |
