Kettel wingtip

Anyone like?

i'm trying to guess what "Kettel wingtip" is. no google;
that's no fun. #1 guess is the hot wings at a local BBQ
joint, and #2 is a brand of motor oil only sold in wales

i think you misunderstand. i'm not gunning for correct
answers; i know my limits. it was kind of a joke of a joke
until it got serious, but i've gone deep into being "wrong,
but with style."

doing it properly requires understanding the nature of being
wrong, ways in which i am usually wrong, ways in which
everyone is usually wrong, and, well, i know a lot about
being wrong.

eventually it approaches a strange zone where i'm so deep
into picking the wrongiest wrong shit that ever done rang
that i'm effectively performing a man in the middle attack
on the real, correct answer. you can't engorge the wrong
vector past the johnny vector without at least getting a
clue about the correct answer.

but, i digress. here, there, always. back on topic:

is it like the P-Wing from Super Mario Brothers 3, but, er,
K?

put the kettel on you elbowrhythmic patchwerk?

drug nonsense referencing drugs or drug nonsense?

the bonobo song "ketto"?

the handle (wingtip) of an electrokettle, D>W<ELL
brand, $19.99 at ocean state job lot?

if you want to help me out, let me know which of these is
the most deeply wrong; perhaps even a bit about why it's so
wrong

You come across as wanting some kind of special attention
that I can't give you

i have no idea who you quarr, arren. if that isn't your real
name.

since you're new here, i'll explain what's going on: i write
a small novel's worth of hyperactive nonsense on this board
every day. the confusion was such that i finally had to
flat-out say: i write this stuff for the sake of my own
sanity. if you read it, that's lovely. if you don't, we're
still cool. if you find it annoying, ignore me, and we're
still cool.

i get it, really. you thought: "crow on a popsycle concert,
that's a reply bordering on firehose therapy. this guy is
trying too hard slash and or he's simply busting a microchip
over a six-post account under the impression that
EpicMegatrax knows exactly who he is and that the crazy
bullshit he's writing in my thread is not only about me, but
entirely because of me."

easy mistake to bake.

i'm going to swap my #1 and #2 picks.

the oil can is clearly the stronger signal. kettel wingtip
has got to be a detroit red wings jersey transmuted into a
handheld petrol kettle.

since it's red and not yellow, it's regular petrol; not
diesel -- careful topping up your tanx.

Why would anyone bump such an embarrassing thread

It's the kind of thread where you post and then hours later
you're watching x files with your wife and you're just like
"FUCK!." Out of sheer remembered embarrassment.

You wife is like "what?!".. she doesn't know much about your
secret quasi homosexual xltronic ego.

You respond "oh I just worried about Mulder. he's in a lot
of hot water with Assistant Director Skinner because of the
Voodoo Cannibals frame job."

excellent thread improvement ^^
post got ruined for me though by usage of word homosexual in
a negative connotation. replace it by closet and it
perfect.

i never ever understood, why people said the words: im
quitting this board, but i feel myself speaking it out loud
these days. im just not feeling it anymore and the music
information value has dropped to minus 137.
oh well maybe one final thread.

I’ve been scared to come back. I wouldn’t do a thread
but I’m definitely not liking this place much anymore.
Recycle and wolfslice always make me smile though. And
I’ve met some very nice people.

I didn't actually mean it in a negative way!

That post was actually poking fun at myself and the way that
I experience embarrassment. The notion that my xltronic ego
was quasi-homosexual was an amusing non-sequitur, but not in
any intentionally mean spirited way.

we are actually currently re-watching X files and enjoying
it. Man Krycek is a piece of shit.

But yeah I think it's always good to take a break from
things like xlt, video games, even music when you begin to
get bored with them. I don't see a reason to publicly
announce a break, just take and and post if and when you
feel like. That's my 2 cents anyway, and if I happen to not
see you around for awhile it's been real, and I'll genuinely
miss your posts!

thx for that response, it wasnt that particular post either
that made me mad, well it was, but apparently i misread this
one also. although i still see a negative connotation in
there, no matter if you describe yourself satirically or
not. I like your posting in general. i was angry beforehand.
there is some vibe around these days, i dont agree with and
it bothers me so much. world has gotten into some serious
problems, yet simple things every social being should have
learned are questioned and trampled on everywhere we go.
(and its gone public and massively into bad politics)
teasing each other on here is not what i mean by that
either, though language barrier and me not knowing most of
you half as good as you do each other, certainly doesnt make
it any easier, but i do notice people getting hurt a lot
also and not only by the trolling of some. i probably posted
loads on unsensitive crap on this forum. this forum also has
a reputation of notorious unsensitiveness and i dont agree
with this anymore as long as it is not about a matter of
taste. ill marinate on all that.

Just remember Sean from ae called us the macho boys!

Sean: WATMM? Whats WATMM?

We Are The Music Makers

Sean: Oh THAT thing! And XLTronic, well XLT, it's a bit more
macho innit and We Are The Music Makers is a bit more geeky.
I like them both, slightly but, you know, it's like any
online community.

Anyway in the end this is a kettel thread so the very best
balm for the soul that I can offer you here is
twinkle twinkle , my favorite Kettel track

I checked out for a while, every now and again it’s good
to break a long standing habit, zilty is one.

Having taken a step back, things here never change. Same
“arguments”, same trolling, same reactions - mixed with
discussion of cool stuff (much less so nowadays).

It’s familiar and comforting, but also disconcerting.

Best taken with a pinch of salt.
