I was walking down the road and a guy had a warp LFO sticker
on his
car. I thought that was pretty cool.

pom pom poochie lives on. :. )

i'm always waiting for someone to give me the thumbs up when
i roll to a stopped light blasting something like that, but
no. only cranky seems to really grab people. cranky
is fucking amazing driving music. anyone who hears it is
edging up further to the line to gun it on green, even if
they're not the sort of chap who usually does

mark may get the bumper stickers but cranky gets the fuel
economy. sorry mark

last i checked, cranky has one of those pages like japanese
people have -- like geocities plus engrish. total crap
design from an english-speaking, american perspective, but
the nature of kanji or whatever makes japanese people make
web pages like that for complex reasons.

i downloaded all the tracks i have ten or so years ago and i
cannot find half of what i have on youtube. the rest is on
there but i can't find the proper mix, it's been slightly
edited a thousand ways.

for your love, but not the version i have. i have a much
punchier mix

cartoon chase in my brain. neobaroque architecture.
spiraling marble staircase. checkerboard tile floor miles
below. one cartoon animal chases another carrying something
of value; perhaps a potato chip.

such beautiful moments to this track. i was whizzing around
a private road structure leading to a target or such and the
road was a spiral exactly like i'd pictured it in my head
and the track was syncing up perfectly. grinning ear to ear

X-Y-Z, tiny C mix -- don't miss the dolphin going "yeaaahhh
boiiii" before your plane clears a mountain and you're
soaring over hilltops

simon from sidney, cranky from japan. epicmegatrax on the
internet

When I did used to drive I used to crank up "Advance" and
drive aggressively. I think if I'd been listening to Cranky
then I, and others, would now be dead.

I'm wearing my warp shirt for over a decade now..(I do buy
new ones so I don't stink)..but only since this year people
are giving me compliments about it. That they know the label
some artists etc.
I think warp has reached the commercial main stream people
and I need to stop wearing their shirts because of that.

stickers are like tattoos to me, you have to be really
convinced to put one

for sure i would be putting a afx or a fela kuti sticker if
i had one

I've got the AFX "Squarepusher" logo sticker on my laptop,
but in none of my contract roles has anyone said anything
about it. Cretins.

i generally avoid car stickers because they make it more
likely you'll get pulled over. it makes you stick out.
distinguishes you from any other car of the same make and
color. so i'm pretty minimal there

laptop, less so. i don't like an exploding salad on things,
though, just a gradually evolving collage that's grown over
time. someone gave me circular alien-head stickers with a
ghostbusters NOEP on top. i habitually buy new smiley-face
stickers if i spot some in the store that i don't already
have. then some circular mario stickers. lots of circles.
unplanned but it's gone so far i haven't felt like pushing
squares on the poor microcosm

here are a few of my favorite bumper stickers:

- "if you don't like my driving, get the hell off the
sidewalk"
- "let's make a deal: you tailgate me, i slow down"
- "jesus is my stewardess" (clearly an answer to another
sticker, "god is my co-pilot.")
