Nothing to do with Islam.

Who is saying that Islamic terrorism has nothing to do with
Islam? Nobody. The issue is whether all Muslims are
collectively guilty and should be collectively punished for
the actions of the perpetrators.

Muslims are collectively guilty. Seeing as they don't,
collectively, lift a finger unless it's about something
that "offends" them. Do they get offended when
horrific acts are carried out in the name of Islam,
presumably something they'd consider blasphemous, right? No.
Some lofty mullah might attempt to calm the Dhimmis with the
well-worn "cowardly attack, nothing to do with Islam"
statement. But when it comes to burning down embassies and
really protesting against something? Oh that'd take
something even worse, like a cartoon (including extra
cartoons added by Islamists), or a film on YouTube, or a
sermon in the one WestBoro church as compared to its
100,000,000 equivalent hate-filled, halal-fart stuffed
mosques.

If it does turn out to be some non-muslim nut-job "doing
what ISIS wantsâ„¢" by attempting to incite "race war" we
still have, from the last ten days;

Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel (Nice)
Mohammed Riyad (Wurzburg)
Mohamed Boufarkouch (Garda-Colombe)

No relation, obvs.

I don't want it to happen. I don't get any enjoyment out of
this keep happening. Who on earth would want innocent
people, children, parents, siblings, gunned down for no
reason? I am angry because whilst killing "randoms" isn't
exclusive to muslims, it is increasingly commited by muslims
in non-muslim countries where politicians and lobbyists have
bent over to import muslims. If a white Briton, barking on
about Albion's supremacy went into a shopping centre in
Kenya and held people hostage, cut their balls of and shot
people in front of their kids i would be ashamed to be
remotely associated with such a person. I would never
harbour, protect, lie to the police, finance or in any way
support such a person. But when it comes to Muslims, well,
it's all part of the "struggle" against de white crusader.

If collective guilt for inaction in the face of crimes by
"your people" is ethically coherent, don't Westerners bear
collective guilt for sitting on their asses eating doritos
while Western or Western-backed armies committed the
opccupation of Iraq, Fallujah, Abu Ghraib, Gaza and so on?

Well, if westerners are guilty of sitting on their asses,
then you'll be happy that they won't put down the doughnuts
long enough to do anything about being gunned down in their
own countries. It's all about passivity, hashtags and
inviting Trudeau to an al-qaeda recruiting mosque to defuse
tensions. Because we wouldn't want things to get
worse, now would we?

I do feel these events are getting to me, and I don't want
to lash out at pals or just regular people. I am deeply
saddened about what is happening, and seems to be
increasingly happening. I don't agree with that French
politician who said, after Nice, that we (at least the
French) need to get used to this. No. No No No No. Who
brings kids up in that environment?

I don't want to row about it. I do wish it wasn't happening.

It's not "whataboutery", I'm asking you whether collective
guilt and punishment is a universal ethical principle for
you, or if it only applies when it suits you.

I'll answer the question myself, if that will prompt you:
collective guilt makes as much sense as substitutive
atonement; it's a superstitious way of thinking and you
might as well go project your sins on a goat and slaughter
it for redemption as blame all Americans for Fallujah, or
all Arabs for Nice.

If there was a cult, let's call it Jizzlam, that openly
called for the death of non-believers of Jizzlam, and also
had a couple of small chapters on Herbs, and I, as a Herb
lover, joined Jizzlam because of the nice paragraph or two
on herbs, and aligned myself with Jizzlam and funded it
through "charity" and never spoke out about some of its
other actions because I'm only interested in the herb aspect
- It's other peoples problem if they see my membership as an
endorsement or terrorism?

I don't think the West is collectively guilty because of the
actions of its politicians, military and corporations. I do
think Muslims are guilty because their actions involve
politician, military, theologians and the general fucking
public, ie the fucking lot of them. Apart from, sure, you
pal "Mo" who just wants to chill. But is still a Muslim.

If we say "don't blame muslims for Islamist violence" then
what do we do? Give muslims more positions in politics and
security? Give them more influence? Ignore them? Give them
all their own personal Gazas so they can fucking moan its
not big enough and tunnel under your house? What do you do
in the face of repeated Islamist attacks? Say "Oh it's
ISIS's plan for you to hate muslims" and ignore it? Or
embrace muslims and start having to accommodate muslims and
not offend them (cf Charlie Hebdo)

He's not saying don't serve pork, don't wear bikinis, don't
draw cartoons. He's saying there are millions of moderate
Muslim citizens of North America and Europe and you don't
want to turn them into your enemies. IS wants to turn them
into your enemies.

I mean, if Trump gets elected and comes up with some
harebrained scheme to tattoo Muslims and collect blood
samples en route to stripping them of their citizenship and
deporting them, what kind of reaction do you expect?

Now, I'd like to hear your own harebrained schemes. Do you
want to execute Muslims on sight? Deport them? Drive a truck
through Muslim neighbourhoods mowing them down? What are
your practical solutions?
