I think its almost impossible to technically make anything like drukqs outside of a tracker, thanks for the screenshot!

It takes me ages to makes the simplest loop on a tracker. That he made hose tracks in a tracker blows my mind.
Insert pic of that science dude having his kind blown.

^ those were probably how he generated the sounds/samples and he arranged them in a tracker, thats my guess

is this a for-real statement he made, or from the same interview where he claims to use "all the behringer pedals that copy the other things"?
i mean, it does sound like tracker music to me... but i've never heard of PlayerPro and i don't have the context in which he name-dropped it. did he sound serious? is PlayerPro any good or some agonizing piece of trash? there's your answer

also, the original drukQs flash site had piano hammers that responded to typed letters with different notes. perhaps no one ever cracked the code and he found this irritating and here, you idiots, there are letters here, look, for the love of god please
some days i wish i had fans and other days i'm glad i don't

why does it sound like tracker music to me? it's an interesting question. it "feels" like it. part of it is the skittering rush of events, but there's also these little feeling like i know where it switches from one tracker page to the next. i think of the opening in vordhosbn and my brain is naturally like: yes, page there, there's another. i won't say where exactly because i'm curious if anyone else picks the same spots and i'd rather not influence it beforehand.

its more tight i think because quantisisation of notes happens more often because of the nature of trackers. when your on cubase or whatever you are more likely to stretch notes out i too lengthier patterns

i used to think the atari teenage riot guy's white cube ketamine studio was artsy bullshit, but he said something about how an enviornment always influences you in subtle ways and the best way to avoid this is to strip the enviornment of as much as possible. then that thing where i realized i got a lot less done when the room was messy... yeah, you make shit in a tracker, and certain things just want to go certain ways.

yes ive been conflicted how i waznt to make music alot, i think i might try and rewire a tracker with cubase so i get the best for melody cubase wise, and do great drums on a tracker

chords are deffo easy to do when you have a piano roll as a visual aid
where as drums and effecting their parameters are much better on trackers

2008 chic
2001 chic was drukqs cd arriving for winter break, and an 80 gig hard drive for christmas. that was huge to me then, now thumb flash drives will almost do that. so, maybe amend that to whether or not PlayerPro was any good by 2001 standards and not 2016
