What is your point here? It's been going on for a while now.
You sort of act as messenger of the press, because of course
none of us read the press.

I suggest if you want to talk about death, and how unfair it
can be in many a circumstance, the causes, and the effects,
then you make a general thread about it.

i am very upset that people are being killed. That its not
in the news paper headlines I see, maybe because the people
who have been killed are Muslims, far away in another
country.

I just automatically posted. sorry if i upset you.

I'll tell you what's upsetting that it isn't in the
headlines each day and every day, this 5 hour presentation;
Stephen Coughlin Lectures on National Security & Countert...

The true measure of how weighty and disturbing the
presentation is is in no small part reflected by how much
he's aged and lost weight come Part 6.

i was super confused at first. i always confuse beheaded and
beshitted

no, now, i don't want to take out your positivity in a
general sense, but that level of purity has you stressing
out on the internet and stressing out that zilty is not
stressing out and that's stressing zilty out and from there
it's sort of a drinking bird kinda motion...

you can sift around and find redeeming qualities in just
about anyone. it's an old yogi dad joke, but it's true.
what's also true is that when i encounter some neo-nazi
looking guy in a postapocalyptic blue pickup with a
confederate flag sticker, i think to myself, "this man is an
asshole and i want to put as much distance between myself
and him as possible." like, within seconds, my GPS is all
~recalculating~, and i yell back -- bitch best recalculate.
because we are going somewhere. else.

but i don't pull that out too often. few people are bona
fide assholes. most people are actually very nice. the ones
that aren't are generally just annoying and narrow and not
assholes. most neo-nazis are actually very polite, unless
you do something like interrupt mid-sentence to tell them
you disapprove of neo-nazis.

and therein lies the rub: you can't flap your avatar hair
ears and make it so they're all about the one love instead
of the sig heil. similarly, these deaths are not on your
conscience. it's a big crazy machine off hundreds of miles
away and you're a bubbly little zilty bug and you try to
give it a kiss and you get sucked into the thresher and it
never actually notices your existence. caring is a
meaningless sacrifice; a millstone you have hung on
yourself.

worse, there are only so many good caring hours in the day.
maybe you can rush through a poop and skip breakfast to put
in some extra time, but by the time you get through caring
about the cycle of violence in even one or two
middle-eastern countries, your cat is already getting sad
and meow. freqy. why are you beheading zilty again. meow.
feed me. meow

i believe this fixes the bug; plea

you know what i do, instead of waking up every morning and
rushing to download today's concerns from CNN? i think about
virtual reality. i have some good ideas. i will make faces
melt. i'll have to file a bug report: not adequate drainage
for the stream of tears that occurrs in about 1/3 of
consumers when they become verklempt. valve will think i'm a
wiseass until gabe newell tries my came and cries big fat
nerd tears and then fixes the goddamn drainage, finally.
but, meanwhile, back in reality, the htc vive is expensive.
then a pc to power it. then a living room sized area i can
camp out in for eighteen hours a day. i figure we're about
ten or twenty grand away from that stage. can you care about
this instead please? thx freqy <3

you say "caring is a meaningless sacrifice"

i do not consider caring to be a sacrifice or meaningless.

It's not like the old days, when people were simply
debagged.

if you're beshitted and debagged that could go from
funny to awkward pretty fast

freqy, there is only so much time you have on this earth,
and i would suggest you consider excusing yourself from
stressing over that which you cannot change. it is bad
resource management, at the very least. perhaps even an
insult to life itself... by wasting it. wasting your life on
misery you can't fix. maybe it's one of those weird
miswirings and you almost enjoy in certain moods? i dunno; i
don't understand why you feel you need to even read about
this stuff in the first place. it upsets you; do you like
being upset? just stop reading it.

next, take the elenty bajillion neurons that frees up, and
focus them on something delightful.
