just watched its, very entertaining game, think its the
usual one good england game in 10, germany looked a bit
shit, but the goals they scored looked so easy for them,
just stroke the ball around, much better passers than
england generally

i do have to say england have a few very good technical
players though now

kane's goal also showed a good technique. but i know what
you mean, i don't think technical players alone can win
games. you also need to be a team

yes thats why germany always win the big tournaments,
england often look like a collection of decent to very good
players, germany look like a team they always play the
simpler pass to the player ina better position, england
often loose their nerve when close to goal, or try to do the
difficult flashy move

france have a great squad, germany will most prob reach the
final with spain or italy, england will get knocked out in
quarter final, think spain or italy will win it, italy
probably

I think Italy will win it. Probably because I'm biased and
hoping Conte goes to Chelsea.

France have a few exceptional players.

I'd be happy for an outsider to win it though. Like when
Denmark (was it Denmark?) did it, after not even having
qualified.

It was fun when Greece won it, but their style was pretty
dim.

yes i think Greece probably got a lot of home field
advantage calls from the ref, like when south korea did
really well in that world cup 2002 wasnt it?

I think Italy will win it as well, Spain arent as good as
they have been in the past few years, Germany are very
strong but manager seems to have an odd team selection,
France has the best young players probably in the world but
might be too young and will probably mentally bottle it,
Dutch i havent seen play for a while, England have a good
team on paper but probably one of the worst mentalities
going, serial bottlers, especially on penalties

That whole Adam Johnson thing was pretty shocking. I used to
kinda like him as a player. Ugh.

yes i thought he was a decent player, its a bit sad he has
thrown his career down the toilet,

are you Italian btw?

do you think Hazard is leaving then? his attitude has been
shit all season

offline RussellDust on 2016-03-27 13:04 [#02493757]
Points: 16078 Status: Regular

He's attitude has been really poor, as has his form. Not
exactly the right way to act if you want to attract the big
european clubs.

Just read Courtois said in a Belgian interview he's not sure
if he's going to stay.

But yeah, Hazard, weird. I thought it was maybe Mourinho,
yet under Hiddink it hasn't been any better.

Mind you same goes for most of last season's big players...
Matic, Fabregas, Costa. Though at least Costa has come back
under Hiddink.

I'm kind of glad this season's been off. It teaches our
glory hunter fans that it's not all about winning all the
time.

Points: 31045 Status: Regular

id keep Matic and probably Costa, get rid of Fabregas, the
main difference is Hazard attitude and deffo Courtois being
injured .

You could forgive Hazard with bad form if he looked to be
trying but he hasnt, Id sell him for sure.

This is my admittedly limited outside view as a Liverpool
fan

I do like Klopp, and remember some epic matches between
Liverpool and Chelsea.

I guess like me you're rooting for Leicester?

offline Hyperflake from Wirral (United Kingdom) on 2016-03-27 13:19 [#02493760]
Points: 31045 Status: Regular

Klopp is entertaining no matter the result, hope he gets
some good unknowns in the summer has a great track record in
that respect

yeah definitely Leicester , rather them than the spuds, i
think Pochettino is great manager though, its insane how
Leicester are top of the league, their fans must be in
heaven

Love Pochettino, dislike spuds a lot! Please not them!! : D

have to admire their squad this season, proper solid, they
might not crumble in the champions league, cant wait to see
Leicester in the champs league that will be a right laugh, i
kind of hope it isnt a one season thing for Leicester as
well, cant see them keeping hold of Mahrez though he is
great

I remember watching an interview of Ranieri at the start of
the season. When asked why he had framed pictures of every
premier league manager on his office wall, he casually
replied: "to keep an eye on them". Brilliant.

i would really really love gotze he is born to win, i read
reports he is going back to dortmund, cant wait for the
dortmund match, think we will be handily beat, but we are
improving so hoping for a good next season, hope Matip will
replace skrtel the Southampton collapse was so depressing

he must be so happy, seems like a great bloke

yes Chelsea have got rid of quite a few managers who did a
decent job, suppose its Abramovich and his dictatorial style

I'll be glad to see the back of Michael Emenalo.

Never understood why they got rid of Ancelotti.

I remember being amazed when Avram Grant took charge. Villas
Boas was a silly gamble, Benitez was pretty shocking, though
I was fed up with angry fans constantly criticising him.

I was excited when Scolari came but his style of play became
so obvious after a few games that all the other teams had
sussed us out.

I tend to really dislike the average Chelsea fan. I've long
stopped going on forums. They're just a cringe fest.
Sometimes I feel bad when I tell someone I support the club
lol.

If Conte does come, I hope this time a manager can stay a
while!

a high proportion for some reason, the real london yobbo
type, glad to hear your not one of those,

England beating Germany, I think apart from the goals
Germany were a bit shit, although they still have a great
squad, weird substitutions by their manager, isnt podolski
like 40 now

his taste in food. LAZY_TITLE

lost 2-1 against the run of play alot neither side was
particularly brilliant,

just saw the Italy result, are Italy as poo as he result
suggests or is it a atypical result?

stats say the germans weren't winning against us in the last
20 years. it is probably the shittiest italy of the last two
decades

yeah i heard they have a great record against the Germans,
some teams just have a psychological edge over other teams
for some reason, usually any team vs england in a penalty
shoot out
